Came to get my engagement ring fixed here when the stone fell out. When I got it back, it looked like a different ring. They removed my radiant reflections diamond setting and replaced it with 4 prongs and messy sautering. so I had to bring it back for the second time and I just picked it up again and I am very disappointed. They placed what looks like a scratched up washer around the diamond that doesn’t allow any light in it and it’s been set crooked. Don’t bring your jewelry to get fixed there. They have no idea what they are doing. I’m afraid they’ve damaged mine so much that it will never look the same.

New management. New staff. New jewelry repair people. New isn’t always good, they have no idea what’s going on! What happened to the professionals that have been there for years?! These aren’t the people your parents did business with, these are a untrained, ignorant group of morons who will ensure they try and take advantage of you by not disclosing proper prices or straight lying about their return policy or when your jewelry will be back. They are all inept and will absolutely destroy your jewelry, if they don’t lose it first. You’ve been warned; just one example, they will use black marker instead of properly using black rhodium at their«butcher» shop. Your jewelry will never be the same if you allow any employee of Sterling Jewelers(or Signet now? whatever they call themselves at their corporate office.) They tried to pay me off via $ 300 in gift cards for rendering my ring unwearable, it’s just a hunk of metal, not going to happen. I’m having a real jewelry store remake it, and there’s plenty in Athens, and Kays will get the bill. If you’re lucky enough to read this prior to shopping here, run… now.
