Not much of a «sub guy» but when I have the rare craving for a sub– off to Larry’s I go. Overall a good place, the bread is nice and soft and the toppings taste amazing. I love that it reminds me of a NY deli style sub shop. The price is average to maybe a little high compared to the awful sub chain that America loves too much, but the quality of subs is outstanding compared to theirs. I’ll definitely be back to Larry’s.

The subs are less than giant. The hot subs are made with re-heated meats (I hate that). I asked if their steak and cheese was made fresh and they told me it was. They then proceeded to microwave the cooked and refrigerated steak and «freshly» assemble the sub. Try Jersey Mike’s around the corner. It makes the hot stuff truly fresh. (I am in no way associated with ANY restaurant in Athen’s, but I love good food)

Forget all those little sub shops you see in strip malls normally. This place is the real deal. I had driven by it dozens of times on the way to Kroger and finally went in today. I didn’t know what I wanted, but I knew I wanted a hot sub.
The guys working there suggested the Ultimate, which is roast beef, turkey and ham. I had mine fairly simple with lettuce, tomato, provolone and their Italian dressing. They even had fresh sweet tea for me. :-D
I love love loved this sub sandwich. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends for their generous portions and high quality ingredients. They also have a diverse menu including soups, salads, sides and a kids menu.
