If you are 13 or 90 this is an ok place to shop. Spend an e tea 45 minutes to drive to mall of Georgia if you can. If you want to shop locally Belk’s has better selection and employees who focus on customers, not last night’s activities. Also I don’t want a sales associate bragging that he works there for the discounts. Really?

The customer service in the home goods department is horrible. It is almost impossible to find anyone who works in that department.

This Macy’s is perfect for Athens. It has a good variety of items in each department despite its size. If you take the time to look a little closer, you can always find quality and designer items that are marked down to awesome prices!

Poor customer service. I asked to order shoes in my size from a different store. The sales person sent me to belks. Belks did not carry the shoe I wanted. Macy’s could have ordered the shoes without me going on a wild goose chase!

Athens, GA
Though this is one of the smaller Macy’s, it is very nice. The customer service is fine and there is a good enough selection here for a small town. The INC. department is small but the selection is great. Same thing for the handbags and especially the shoe department. This Macy’s has the greatest shoe selection ever. This department store cannot help it if it’s stuck in the Georgia Square Mall.
