McDonald’s

Honestly, I did not eat here, but there’s a story behind that, so here goes:
I had an outpatient procedure at the hospital that is just down the street from this franchise. I had no breakfast and instructions to «eat fairly light» as I was dismissed from the surgery center. Hubby is not a cook, so I suggested that we take advantage of the all day breakfast that McDonalds has been touting. «Really?» he says. «Yep, I am hungry, and I think an Egg McMuffin would be filling but not over the top.» Okay, he says, and we get there quickly.
But, we can’t get in the side street entrance, because some guy in a trash truck has the entrance and exit blocked. (Not the fault of the restaurant, but why pick up trash at noon?) So we go down the street, turn around, and access it via Prince Avenue. By this time traffic is backed up so there is a nice young lady dispatched into the chaos, walking from vehicle to vehicle to take orders. Hubby orders two Egg McMuffins and two orange juices. The young lady says something like, we do serve breakfast but not that. Instead, she stated that we could get sausage and hash browns. There may have been other options, but just the thought of all that grease…
Hubby looks at me, and I said, «Nothing. Just leave.» As we drove off, I was still hungry, but sausage and hash browns might have ended up ruining the upholstery.

Yeah I wish I could leave this place 0 stars because it may be the WORST McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. They constantly screw up your order, they are always rude, have no common customer service experience and the food is always cold and tasteless. I mean, I didn’t think a place could operate this poorly and still survive. I wish there was some kind of upper management that cared about their service because they don’t care at all. I could leave a million examples of stuff they have screwed up, but I won’t. I’m just going to give an overall terrible review.

Everything was terrible. Old fries, tasteless mcnuggets, big Mac not very tasty and put together very sloppy. This McDonald’s has been going down hill for sometime now, I will never go back. And those workers want how much an hour?

If I could give this McDonald’s zero stars, I would. This has got to be the worse McDonald’s in the U.S.
I have never gotten a hot burger or fries at this joint and I have been living in Athens for over 15 years. They have a terrible staff and I think there must be something amiss in the management/​franchiser.
Also, the late night is super sketchy. They never take credit cards and only cash after midnight. They only service lunch after 2:30am and sometimes they start lunch earlier than that depending on how busy they are in the drive thru. I think there is something fishy going on with the franchise and they are trying to pocket the cash and not have to pay the franchise fees.
All the other local McDonald’s are better run and the food is way better. I always drive to the Epps Bridge, Atlanta Highway locations just to avoid this one and so should you.

This place has an awesome sandwich that’s called a Big Mac. You should eat one everyday. The egg mcmuffin is great for breakfast too. If you’re kid, try the Happy Meal – it comes with a toy!
