Spotsylvania Courthouse, VA
Great music. 70’s 80’s style. The beer was super cheap for happy hour. The bar seems a little «historic», but decent atmosphere. They had free chicken when we were there. Not too bad of a place. Google said it was a gay bar and this location is listed under multiple searches as such, however, nothing not even the patrons seemed gay. When in Athens just stick to grindr.

This is a college kid dive bar so I wouldn’t dare set foot during peak times, especially with the ladies breaking the toilets all the time. The bartenders are nice and the drinks are cheap. There is also a pool table and plenty of tvs to watch the game.

It gets too crowded on weekends.
It’s just nothing special to me. I never made a good memory (or didn’t form a good memory lol) at Pawpurr’s.
Nothing is wrong with the place, it’s just average.

Primetime, Blackouts (their house mixed drink), constantly Sticky floors (probably due to spilled Blackouts), dancing on the stage & a swarm of North Face jackets.
Pawpurr’s usually has a line out of the front door on the weekend’s. I would prefer to go during the week for a and to play pool with friends in the back. Even though it’s not my favorite bar on Court St. it is an Athens staple. I did spend one amazing night there in 2008 when Obama was elected!

Oh, Pawpurr’s… Where to begin?
Plastic cups? No thanks.
Sticky floors? Nope, not for me.
Forever alone frat boys all over the place? Pass.
Pawpurr’s, I love your house drink «the Blackout» so darn much, but you as a bar are just far too gross for me. I’m sorry darling, but I’ve raised my standards. I wish we could have been closer, really I do. After giving you several chances, it’s time to move on. I need a bar that’s a bit more mature and knows how to treat me like a lady. A bar that doesn’t smell like pee or have my flip-​flops immediately stick to the floor ever time I stop by. Thanks for the fun times Pawpurr’s but until you grow up and clean up a bit, I won’t be back.

God I love this place, but my liver hates it. This was my college hangout while spending my time at Ohio University. Great drink specials for Primetime and throughout the night. They always play good upbeat music and have a couple pool tables as well. Bartenders are the best and know how to pour a stiff one!!!

This place is amazing. Went to this fine establishment for 2 – 3 years every weekend. Awesome deals, efficient bartenders, great owner… no frills whatsoever… only negative is the smell which subsides after a few blackouts!

Pawpurrs’ Primetime may be the best thing that has ever graced the bars of the world. Uptown, tt’s the best way to start a night off with friends, period.
