The Hookah Hook-up

The only reason I gave this place a star is because I have to… I have never had such horrible service in a «tobacco shop» my whole life… We were even dealing with a manger, so we asked for another or even the owner and we were denied that… I’m sure it’s because the guy knew that he had messed up and crossed the line… I wouldn’t recommend this place at all, for anything and I will most certainly never go back myself… I have even asked my friends to spread the word, people don’t deserve to be treated like that… Hot Breath is a much better shop and the employees are awesome…

Good selection of stuff. However, when compared to other retailers their prices are too high. A pack of shisha is around $ 5-​$ 8 and I can go down the street to the gas station and get the same thing for $ 2.99. Lower the prices to a reasonable amount and you won’t continue losing business to lazy shopper, modern age, and local gas stations. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly and helpful. If it wasn’t for their friendliness I would have given 1 star. To the owner: you need a business consultant.

I do my best to support local retailers so I’ve gone in Hookah Hookup three times since they opened. The first time, I stopped in with a friend after dinner and we wanted to look at glass upstairs but they wouldn’t let us go up by ourselves bc I guess they were too busy to go with us thought we looked like me might steal something so we left.
The second time, I went in and bought a «cheap» dab rig for $ 350 that shattered the first time I ever heated it up. It was a faulty glass joint. So I called up there and they told me that all sales are final… No help. $ 350 piece of glass is now a paperweight.
So now I’m getting ready to go on a trip and I’m in serious need of a cloud vape pen so I checked back in with Hookah Hookup. They had the older «classic» in stock for $ 129. They retail for $ 60 all day long. That’s what any idiot can buy one for and they are charging DOUBLE and they offer no warranty, no parts, no support.
I gave Hookah Hookup a fair shot at my business and they have officially run me off for good. They charge $ 130 for a titanium nail that sells on ebay for $ 18-​$ 30 depending on how much titanium was used. They charge $$$$ for Chinese garbage vape pens and to top it all off, the front door has been broken for weeks. My advice? Go to Modern Age. Much more reasonably priced and their stock is usually pretty good.
