Menlo College is a small, private, non-​profit Silicon Valley school with a mission to focus on business education with a strong liberal arts emphasis. Menlo has been named as one of the «Best Colleges in the West» by The Princeton Review seven years running, and «Best Regional College» by the U.S. News & World Report for the last five years.
The Café servers the food interests of the Menlo College community and daily announcements of specials. Featuring a veggie, vegan bar, and gluten-​free.

Beautiful Campus in a nice part of the Bay Area.
Not a student, so you probably want to base my review on your education. But in terms of settings, this place is very nice.
Nestled in the middle of the Silicon Valley, this place is probably ideal for you to start your college career.
Lots of trees all around, and the campus seems very small. I hear that they don’t have a lot of majors. This can be a disadvantage if they don’t have what you want but i’m sure that they are great at what they are doing.
Attended their concert series and it was very a nice setting for that purpose.

Small, peaceful, beautiful college campus right off El Camino Real in Atherton.
Great place to study, play sports, take a nap under an oak tree, etc.

It’s a small private business school. I personally like having a small class size because you’re able to build connections with students and professors. I’ve attended a big university and didn’t like that professors didn’t know who you were. The professors at Menlo genuinely care about their students and are always here to help. The campus is really small. It’s convenient because you can get anywhere on campus in less than 5 minutes. Parking sucks because student numbers are rising and they haven’t added additional parking. But overall a great school and would recommend to anyone that actually wants to build connections with students and professors!

love coming here. We do some business with the athletics and res life departments for my company. beautiful campus. older buildings so it always feels like I’m going see a ghost when i open the bathroom door. lol. never the less, beautiful.

Came here as a poll worker for the ¹¹⁄₂₀₁₃ election. Nice place. Clean. Easy access. A little cold int he morning but not bad at all since I am used to Pacifica cold. The head of the college cam by while I was there to ensure the site was working well for use. He also offered to warm up the room for the comfort of everyone.
For an event or as a future polling location I strongly recommend the Fireside room in the student union at Menlo College.

I have mixed feelings about Menlo College.
My personal experience (I transferred in and was there 2004 – 2006) was a solid 5 star time of my life. I graduated with a BA in Mass Communications and really liked the small, intimate setting as I got to know my professors and peers really well. The advantage of being able to receive the extra personal attention and having access to building such close relationships with the faculty was the best benefit of being there. I didn’t live on campus but made friends with many who did and rarely heard complaints about the dorms.
My beef with Menlo is the fact that they closed down my department and canned all of my amazing professors, even the those who were tenured. I’m sad that future generations have been robbed of the experience that I had. For that I give one star.

BEST COLLEGE CAFETERIA EVER. Hands down. They fill their food bars with delicious, organic, locally sustainable food. The man at the burgers & fries spot is so friendly and double fries his fries to a perfect crisp.
Love it. I’m so glad they re-​opened for the summer so I can take advantage of their yumtastic offerings.

Menlo College is a great school if you can afford to live on campus and start as a freshman.
It’s an «ok» school if you transfer in and or are a «day student» (their term for off campus).
The school is very good if you are able to spend all of your doing things on campus. This is where the living on campus comes in handy. If you are a day student, your activities are pretty much limited to bi-​monthly «day student lunches» and occasional movie night (if you happen to see the flyer in time).
Overall, Menlo is a pretty good school and the faculty and staff are very friendly and willing to accomodate students.
I am glad that I had the chance to attend Menlo for the two years that I was able to. While it can be expensive, It is a very good private college pretty much hidden in plain sight in Atherton.

Menlo is a very small (650 students) business based college (they also have a PSP, Professional Studies Program), yes it is a 4-​year college, NOT a junior college. I attended Menlo for four years and had a great time.
The campus is nice and is constantly being upgraded and re-​landscaped. Most of the professors are awesome and are really passionate about the subject that they are teaching.
The cafeteria only serves gourmet food, which many of the students dislike, but personally I think the cafeteria is really good!
I graduated in May ’07 and I just got a job offer at an advertising company, which I got through one of my professors (THANKS!). This is one of the many reasons why I LOVE Menlo; the people you meet there are awesome and you can gain a lot of connections to help get a job!
