I loathe salons that over book clients and over charge. This was my experience at 360 Degrees Salon. For a retouch relaxer and simple trim I spent about $ 90 and that didn’t even include the tip. The hair stylist only styled my hair and trimmed my ends and a shampoo girl washed and set my hair. The shampoo girl was nice but inexperienced because she washed my hair in such an aggressive and rough manner. It surely didn’t feel good. Furthermore, although the hair stylist styled my hair well, I was not satisfied with the cost or the 4 hours I spent at the salon. Realistically I should have been done in two and a half hours or less. As a result I left feeling like I had paid for the stylists booth rent and the shampoo girl’s salary instead of my actual hair treatment. When I go to the hair dresser I want to feel relaxed, not tense. At 360 Degrees Salon the long wait, money spent and environment left me in that predicament. If I was going to spend 4 hours there, I could have just gone to another salon and spent half the price for the same service. Every six to eight weeks I get my relaxer retouched and spending $ 75 or less is reasonable, not $ 90. For $ 90 I should have looked like a new person, but I didn’t! Needless to say I will never go to 360 Degrees Salon again. This is exactly why I go to Ulta Hair Salons; they don’t charge an arm and a leg, they don’t over book clients and, most importantly, you don’t waste half a day in the salon.
