If I had an exotic supercar, I could understand.
But for a Corvette? Or any Chevy with a 6.0L engine.
AutoZone hooked me up.

I live very close so AAP on Howell Mill RD is a natural choice. But after my last couple of experiences there, I will not be back. Staff was extremely rude and seemed totally uninterested in helping anyone there. Today all I needed was a battery for my car key remote. I stood at the counter and no one would come to help me, so finally I caught someone’s attention. He wouldn’t help me figure out how to open the remote to see what kind of battery it took. He said he wasn’t allowed. He suggested I get a screwdriver to open it. I asked if he had one and he said no. He didn’t have a screwdriver. He suggested I go somewhere else. I asked where and he said «I don’t care»

Let me start by saying, I don’t know much about cars. I should, but I don’t. I went in to Advanced Auto to get my battery replaced and to buy new windshield wipers on October 17^th around noon, and had the BEST experience. Not only did they help me figure out which products I needed but they also diagnosed a faulty terminal and were happy to help me with that as well. They were patient and happy to answer all of my questions. Usually I’m afraid of getting ripped off when it comes to my car because of my lack of knowledge but I got much more than my dollar’s worth at this store. Raven and the two gentlemen working with her (unfortunately I didn’t get their names) did such a great job. Thanks!

After my terrible experience at Autozone the same day, I went to advanced auto with very low expectations. But, I still wanted to give it one more shot because my car was making a horrendous noise. A very friendly gentleman was quick to follow me out to my car to «try and see what was going on». Just like at Autozone, the guy told me I needed oil. I hesitantly asked if he would put it in for me since they wouldn’t do it at AZ. He said he would definitely put it in for me and not only that, but he noticed the top of my battery terminal was a little corroded so he sprayed something on it to help with that. The whole time he was putting the oil in, we talked and laughed, he was so nice and sweet and really took care of me. He said he wasn’t sure if this would fix the issue or not but he suggested several places I could take it that would be able to assist me. THAT’S customer service!

Worst Advanced Auto Parts I’ve ever been to. Extremely rude and unhelpful. I asked for some help simply applying a new mirror and I was told no one could come out to even take a look at it.
It’s just so frustrating when I have been to other locations with people who have no problem giving a helping hand. Sorry I don’t understand how to do everything on my car — I though that was the point of places like this. Extremely upset at how I was treated.

I showed up with a dying battery about 10 minutes before closing time. The salesmen were kind enough to install my battery in the frigid cold. Much appreciated. Awesome customer service.

I had a dead battery today and kept striking out until I came to Advanced Auto Parts on Howell Mill. I started in Midtown and proceeded up Piedmont to the Pep Boys near Lindbergh, which didn’t have my battery. I continued on to Auto Zone up Buford Highway, and they talked themselves out my business by saying that they weren’t equipped to perform the battery installation on my car.
After that frustration, I proceeded to Advanced Auto Parts because I noticed a cluster of auto businesses in the area on Google maps. It seemed like a better bet than aimlessly driving around without turning off my car as I had been.
I was assisted by Jorge, who was really nice and helpful. He explained to me that there was no reason Auto Zone couldn’t have installed the battery and that they basically just didn’t want to do the work. It took him about 15 minutes to search for my battery, test my old one, install the new one, and ring me up. I was really happy with the quality of service here, and now I have a new battery with a three-​year warranty. Huzzah!

Perfect. It took him (the manager) 20 minutes to fix our car. He kept us informed, and had a great attitude!

I’ve ordered several things online for in-​store pickup and it was a quick and fast transaction. Friendly customer service and a new store made it a good experience.
One suggestion for improvement is an email for when the order is ready to pick up.

My car kinda hates me. It has to wait months before I replace its wiper blade because I prefer to get them at a auto supply shop. But the idea of driving outside my area of convenience has denied my car of some TLC and frankly, makes my car dangerous to drive in the rain. THEN, this new store location appeared on Howell Mill en route to the supermarket and I turn sharply into its parking lot. Not particularly busy on a Sunday afternoon, but that meant I was out of there within 10min. Many products with a spectrum of prices. And a nice sales associate to install the wiper blades for me? Why, thank you for crossing another to-​do item off my list.
