Bark ATL

I took my dog JellyBean to Bark ATL when I moved to Atlanta. It has an amazing staff everyone was wonderful to JellyBean. He is a special needs dog and has megesophagus. He has to be fed upright small meals in a chair they treated him so well and like their baby. Everyone embraced his protocol and helped me to keep him healthy. I highly recommend this doggie daycare you will not be disappointed your baby will be treated like a king or queen!

Bark Atl is the most wonderful doggie daycare in Atlanta. I literally took my dog to every daycare in Atlanta and this is the one that he loves. The staff is amazing. They interact with the dogs. They know my Donnie by name and he is always exhausted when he comes home. I wouldn’t recommend any other daycare but Bark Atl!

I have had great experiences with Bark ATL. My dogs alway come home exhausted and happy. I have taken my dogs to other places before and was either disappointed at their care or disturbed with their care. Not with Bark ATL, why I trust them to care for my dogs. I also watch my dogs online through their web camera and love it. I also see their staff regularly interacting with my pups, supervising and initiating play. Great staff, great place and I love how cute it is, I got first day at daycare magnets with my pups pictures the first time I went.

Bark ATL is wonderful — they were the first I tried a couple years ago and always stuck with them. Everyone there is super nice and seems to genuinely care about my dog and all other dogs! They are incredibly sweet people and smart as well. I love that they meet me out back to get her, and bring her back out when I pull up at the end of the day and invoice/​charge me automatically. Their whole system is very efficient. Also I love the fact that I can watch my pup on the webcam! I think they have an optional walk to Piedmont service or they used to, which I may use one day if they still have it. Healer is always super happy when I pick her up. :-)

Every interaction I’ve had with Bark ATL has been very professional, reassuring, convenient, and pleasant. I left my pup over the 4^th of July weekend for the first time, and they took very good care of him (and my helicopter mom tendencies). My pup loves coming here, and he is always nice and tired when he leaves. Fully recommended!

My boyfriend and I absolutely adore Bark ATL! Over the last year, we have taken our precious little pup, Samantha, here for daycare and boarding. Every time we drop Samantha off, the staff greets her by name and happily takes her away. We always know that she is in good hands. When we pick her up, she leaves exhausted and extremely happy. Also, their Bark Cams and Facebook page are the cutest distractions to have while at work! Thanks, Bark ATL!

I’m so happy I found this place! I tried another daycare place in East Atlanta first, and while they took good care of my 9-​month old pup at daycare, I wasn’t comfortable leaving him there for long-​term boarding. I wanted a smaller, more intimate boarding place where my pup could get more attention from the people watching him, as well as closely-​supervised interaction with other dogs. Bark Atl only allows a small number of dogs at a time, which ensures that each dog gets the kind of attention they deserve. Every person that I’ve spoken with has been polite and professional, as well as genuinely caring toward my pup. As an overprotective pup mommy, I feel very comfortable leaving my dog with these folks. I’ve never gotten my dog groomed here, so I can’t comment on that, but I highly recommend them for daycare and boarding.

My pup loves Bark ATL and comes back exhausted. The folks who work there are fantastic and knew my dog’s name after 2 – 3 visits. They’ll even come out and pick up and drop off my pup so I don’t have to get out of the car… which is awesome when I’m in a rush to get to work.
I also love that they have a doggy cam so I can watch him while I’m at work.
My one complaint is that sometimes, its impossible to reach anyone there by phone, but the team is very responsive over email.

I wish there were more than five stars for Bark ATL – fifty might almost be enough. We just love this place!
When we realized that a doggie hotel would make more sense for our family than someone coming into to watch our pets, we looked at 3 or 4 doggie daycare facilities close to our house. Then we looked at Bark ATL and immediately decided the slightly longer drive was totally worth it. It was just so much friendlier than the other places we saw. Everyone who works there is passionate about dogs, without question, but they’re gracious to people too. We leave our two boys there about once a month and have never been worried in the slightest. We know that they are having a ball! Milo and Jory never hear us talk about Bark ATL because if we even say the name out loud they go nuts and start running to the door to get in the car. I would say it’s «Disneyland for Dogs» but it’s better than that. It’s Disney crossed with a trip to Grandma’s – you have a blast AND you are cared for and loved.

I didn’t like that they seem to not even care what’s the dogs name. I’ve been to a lot of places, some even asked my baby’s favorite spots to be pet! I do not have the feeling that you guys know dogs and their behaviors well.

Our names are Chewy and Bowie and we wanted to tell all the humans out there how much we LOVE BarkAtl. Our first day at doggie daycare was yesterday. At first, we didn’t know what to think of all the new dogs and new humans. It was a new experience for us. But, as the day progressed, we became more comfortable and met a lot of new furry and non furry friends.
What we love most about BARKATL is the nice staff and how clean they keep our play areas. Our human parents love the BARK Cams that are set up in each room. Our humans can look at these BARK Cams if they ever feel a need to check on us.
We can’t wait to go back!

My 4 month dog went shower there and I was so moved! One staff named Justin was super friendly and dedicated. My puppy rarely plays with strangers so I never knew he could really bite. After the shower I saw many scars on Justin’s hands, but he was very patient and gentle to my crazy puppy the whole time. He gave me many good advice for my dog’s situation and BIG thanks to him!!!

Friendly and helpful staff? Check! Daily Facebook status updates on the dogs in house? Check! Great location and easy in/​out service? Check! Clean facilities? Check! Happy dogs in a kennel-​free environment? Check! Great pricing? Check! What more can you ask for?

They make it so easy with back-​door drop-​off right off the parking lot — and now you can buy your boarding/​daycare passes online! Plus they email you instant confirmations of everything. A techie downtown-dweller’s dream.

Moved to ATL in June. Both of our dogs love visiting BarkATL. The puppy comes home tired. A tired puppy is a happy puppy. Thanks BarkATL!

I have been taking my dog here for a year. They have bark cams during daytime hours, so you can keep an eye on your pup during the day. They also put pics up on facebook– which is great when you are on vacation missing your pup. On hot days, they have a little pool for the dogs to play in outside. My pup comes home tired everytime.

Bark ATL is a great service. We took our Lab Dana there while we were out of town for 10 days. We were able to watch her on the webcams that you can find on their website. We started using Bark ATL because of their 24hr supervision that frankly nobody else in the city offers, and that worries me after finding out our last dog boarding facility on North Ave doesn’t have 24hr supervision and leaves the dogs unattended over night, they didnt really make it clear to us either. So, just keep that in mind when looking for a dog boarding facility for your loved one as I would be devastated if something were to happen to my dog and nobody be there to help. I definitely recommend Bark ATL and will definitely be returning when we are out of town next.

Love these guys! It’s great to know you can leave your dogs somewhere and they aren’t caged up and get to roam like a dog should. I only wish the bark cams were on later so we could wish them sweet dreams telepathically.

This review is long over-​due since I’ve been using Bark ATL to watch the love of my life dog, Fizzle, since 2010. but I cannot say enough good things about them.
I admittedly am a hover-​er kind of dog Mom. When I first was considering daycare/​boarding places, I insisted on seeing all the back areas where dogs were kept and surprisingly some day cares wouldn’t allow it… yet Bark ATL gave me a full tour of the facility.
They also calmed my nerves by sending me continued Facebook and email updates while I was traveling for work… and that continues all these years later. They have webcams for you to see your dog both inside and outside, yet I am still that annoying dog parent that checks in all «How’s Fizz doing right now». The staff always responds fast and honestly.
Oh, and they have drive up «valet» where you just pull up and someone comes outside to retrieve or bring you your dog. How convenient is that when rushing to the airport? They also follow whatever feeding instructions your pet requires and are willing to medicate if need be as well.
Most of all, I am so thankful there is someone on site 24 hours a day. Bark ATL is truly where I trust leaving Fizzle when I can’t be with him.
