Basik Movers

I hired Basik Movers to move me from my apartment in Atlanta to my new house in Marietta based on the recommendation of my roommate who they had moved just the weekend before. I called with no problem, we booked for Sunday morning at 9am and they even confirmed via text message the day before. However, when Sunday morning arrived they NEVER SHOWED! I called every half hour and even texted the number who had texted me the day before to find out where they were. It has now been many day since the scheduled move and I HAVE STILL NEVER RECEIVED A CALL TO EXPLAIN!!! Not only did they not come move me as they had confirmed they would, they threw my entire week off because of their failure to provide the service I was promised! I had to frantically arrange for another mover to move me on short notice which cost me double as well as I had to find someone who could take time off to over see the move. ***I can’t think of anything more unprofessional than to never show up for a job but even more so never call to explain or try to make it right!!! I highly DO NOT recommend using Basik for your moving needs!
