Bcbg

4 stars is almost automatic for BCBG. It’s just hard to go wrong with this line. It offers creative and original design. The pieces are unique. They are interesting. They are current. Personally, I love the look and ethos of BCBG. It’s one of those places where I can take my special person and know that everything she tries will be at least interesting, and often fabulous. This all goes for tops, bottoms, dresses, shoes, and accessories.
Sure, you can find all this and more at Saks Fifth Avenue, but at BCBG I can also afford to take some things home.
So, why is this review merely 4 stars? Because this is a normal store in a mall. The staff was nice, but not memorable or exciting. It was a retail shopping experience at Perimeter mall, neither more nor less. It’s a nice store, nothing fancy or amazing. They only had a few of the (admittedly useless for daily wear) runway type items, which I do enjoy seeing.
Other BCBG stores have set such a high standard in service and appearance that I guess I have become spoiled. My special person is amazing looking, and I enjoy when the staff get excited about her and fuss and run around. I enjoy it even more when they put me on a sofa and bring me a glass of wine (yes, it’s happened). That sort of stuff doesn’t happen at a mall store, I guess. So, 4 stars for the awesome women’s fashion at great prices. But as As Good as it Gets? I’ve seen that, and it wasn’t here.
