What a neat, neat place! Those guys on «American Pickers» would lose their pretty little heads if they walked in here. Jam-packed, floor to ceiling with stuff. Lots of neat signs, a cardboard Elvis standing in the corner and a cigar store Indian at the entrance, some creepy-cool old McDonald’s and Burger King playground equipment — what more could you want? I’m holding off a star only because I didn’t buy anything or have any real interaction with the employees. Not sure about the prices. I saw so many things I liked and wanted, I just tried to focus on my reason for being there(to shoot pictures) and ignore the urge to shop.

This place is super cool! I could easily spend a couple of hours here among the vintage signs and finds. Part antique shop and part attraction, Biggars is a must see if in the area. Family run and super friendly. It seems that they have a niche in supplying these hard to find treasures to film and production companies, which may be important since I imagine they must see a lot of «browsers» like me. Yay for Biggars!

I drive by this place all of the time but I always had questions– 1) what in the hell is this place called? 2) what are the hours? I decided one day to pull in and explore. After watching tons of episodes of Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and Storage Wars, entering this place got me excited. Please note– do not go into this place if you are intoxicated– unless you have a deep wallet– things are so tight that is is very easy to knock stuff over or even break it(just keep that in mind!). This place is huge, and has something for everyone– but one thing I noticed– not everything had a price on it; and no one asked for help. Then I realized, half of the rooms are dark– so with that being said, it must have been closing time(as I said, no idea what the hours are). I spent about 30 minutes in just 2 rooms. This is a great place for someone who wants to window shop or find obscure items– but if you ever want to burn an hour or two, check this place out! I also noted they have some baseball cards too, something that I actively like to seek out…

I love the old McDonald’s playground equipment at this little barn located off Peachtree in Chamblee. The old Hamburglar climb in house brought back some great childhood memories of when I use to actually enjoy going to Mickey D’s. Other than that the store itself has a few treasures, but the prices are way too high for some of their stuff. I about crapped my pants at what they were asking for some of the things in here. Plus it needs a good cleaning, I felt like I needed a bath after leaving the store. They have stuff just piled up everywhere in this place, it was like an episode of hoarders trying to move around in here.

Need a vintage Playboy or a ceramic hand? BIggar’s got dozens of them. This giant barn filled with oddities and genuine collectibles is mixed in among a veritable plethora of antique and thrift stores in quaint little Chamblee. You can’t drive by without noticing the place; it is covered in signs and there’s a giant hamburglar play structure outside. Cheers~

Biggar Antiques is a wonderland. It’s by far the coolest Antique shop I’ve ever been to. A visit here feels like a visit to the carnival, and I could spend all day deciding what gems I can’t live without. Their website says that they specialize in «Country Store, Advertising, Signs, Americana, Architectural and the Unusual». They also have movie and prop rentals. Come early, everything over here closes at 5pm.
