Buckhead Gymnastics Center

Been a great place for our girls to enjoy learning the sport of gymnastics for 6+ years. Staff is friendly and professional, and in my experience care about my girls. It can be busy, but the classes are well organized and they handle the volume well.

My daughters have been at Buckhead Gymnastics for 8 years. The owners of the gym always keep the focus on what is important: providing safe instruction while sharing their passion for the sport they love. They hire top-​notch coaches and are committed to keeping a low student: teacher ratio — there are no more than 8 students per coach in any class, much smaller than other gyms in the area. And they have all the best equipment of a first class facility. My children are safe, have a GREAT time, and learn a sport they love from high-​quality teachers. I could not ask for anything more!

The only reason most people I know send their kids here is because rut is the only gymnastics center in the area. But this place is a dump. The facility is dark and smells like dirty gym socks. The classes are not cheap, yet the place seems run down and the equipment is all old. If your child misses a class, you don’t get to make it up. You just lose the money. I’ve heard a lot of parents complain that the kids stand around more than actually do gymnastics. There is always a waiting list to get into a class but I can’t figure out why other than the fact that there is a serious lack of competition in this business. Some of the instructors are rude, and lack in creativity. The Mommy & Me class I took w my youngest daughter was a joke. It was practically the same exact thing week after week. I was bored out of my mind. And the big «recital» at the end of the year is a joke. You pay a fortune for a silly new leotard that they wear all of 5 minutes. Literally the place was jam packed with nowhere near enough seating and my child’s class performance lasted less than 5 minutes. My daughter loves gymnastics and is actually quite good at it but we are going to take our money elsewhere. Even if we have to driver farther.
