Budget Car and Truck Rental of Atlanta

Horrible experience! Reserved two vans about three weeks ago. Arrived to pick them up and they had given one to another customer. Not I have sat over 45 minutes waiting on my replacement

Here’s an honest review about this location: The 2 bedroom truck is nice. I was pleased with how it handled and drove. The insides are nice and clean as well. Here’s the BUT… the service/​attitude here is severely lacking/​unprofessional. I dealt with two different women (picking the truck up and dropping off) who were the definition of the word snob. I filled the gas tank up after I was done using the truck and upon my return the lady proceeds to tell me (with a grin on her face in a snarky tone) that the tank was not full? (which it was) I pretty much had to be on the offensive with this lady until we were done. Needless to say I won’t be returning to rent a truck here in the future.

After yesterdays fiasco being that I had spent twenty minutes in traffic to get there, then had to call corporate several times and being put on hold numerous times to even «find out the information needed.» I had finally had enough it was time for conversation to end.
Sometimes people will say «you just have to bare with it» well if I didn’t have to have that truck first thing in the morning I would have called & canceled.
Today went to pick up the sixteen foot truck needed for the move, I was kept there for 45 minutes while the clerk did the paperwork. At first I was the only customer there, then two guys came and left deciding against them, another man arrived he was there «for pick up» he too was held captive for more than thirty minutes.
The young lady working at the counter is very soft spoken, so much so that repeated requests had to made to understand what she was saying.
The return — The gas tank was returned «full» but because it wasn’t to the Tippy Top I had to go to the gas station down the street and put in 1 gallon to make them happy.
Honestly I wish I would have read the review on «Yelp» first before coming here Erin F. wasn’t wrong about «lack of customer service».

TERRIBLE. If I could give zero stars on this I would. We showed up to pick up a moving truck that we reserved at 11am — we get there and it’s not there. The only associate there, TJ, was probably the most unhelpful customer service person (if you could classify him as such) I’ve ever seen. We asked for our truck and he simply says «Oh, it’s not here» and offers nothing else. Basically it was at a different location and they had no contacted us about it. It took us an extra hour to drive out to go get it (the movers were scheduled for 12pm noon, mind you, so we were late getting back to meet them), and luckily the gentleman at the next location was much more helpful. What got me was the customer service — TJ was rude, unhelpful, and downright awkward. I will not be renting from Budget Rental again.
