My wife and I have been to this restaurant many times. Most of the time we visit for brunch and once in a while we would stop by for dinner. As far as location goes, this restaurant is located at a busy spot just off Piedmont and 10th. It’s not too much of a walk from the park but if you drive, please note that you will have to use their valet parking. Free or meter parking is either non-existent or always full. Campagnolo shares a parking lot with a few other establishments and the best way to get to the valet drop off spot is to enter the lot(right next to Ten) from 10th street. The parking is free but don’t forget to tip your valet driver. Campagnolo has both patio seating and indoor seating. The patio seating is generally pretty full during brunch hours. But there are plenty of space inside and I actually prefer that since the patio seats are so close to the road, a car with bad exhaust could ruin your meal. Every time I come here, I only order one thing: their angel hair pasta with meatball. They make their pasta in house and it is some of the best I’ve ever had(I think even better than Pasta da Pulcinella, my other favorite Italian place). However, they don’t put a whole lot of sauce on the pasta like I would prefer, so it doesn’t get a full five star. Another reason I didn’t give this place a five star is because its menu, while up to standard, is not very exciting. It has your stables that you would find in an Italian restaurant, but they are not very experimental. i would recommend it to you if you just want some good traditional Italian food.

My husband and I stumbled upon this place when we found the flying biscuit was so busy and we didn’t want to stand on their sidewalk for 45 minutes with no coffee or mimosas. Just across the street we were accommodated with fantastic bloody Mary’s and coffee immediately. The service was excellent and the manager/owner was present watching over the kitchen and guests. Atmosphere was fresh and had a great vibe. Food was excellent! We had French toast and Eggs Benedict. I’m interested in only visiting spots that could exceed my expectations and this place did that. Nice menu and very fair prices. We would make this our local favorite if we lived here! Nice, cozy little bar and they have live music at night –would be perfect! We will return!

Midtown Atlanta + Italian Food = Campagnolo. The owner, Alice, is a gem and propels this place into stardom. I was introduced to this restaurant by really great friends who have been coming here for years. Wednesday Nights are ½ price wine nights, and let me tell you that this is ONE of the best nights to come. The food is excellent and on point, and the atmosphere is casual and fun. The service is probably the best in Midtown. You don’t expect this place to be as wonderful as it is being placed beside TEN and across from Blake’s and G’s, but it is a special place. Certain nights there is a live pianist that will make the moment even that much more special. GETTHERENOW!

Let’s just say delicious! What a great night out with some girlfriends, but an equally romantic setting for a date night! This cozy Italian restaurant hits the mark with atmosphere, food and service! We were luck enough to pick a night that included a live piano player rocking it out in the bar with fun, singalong classics. The bar area in the front was a little loud with the piano, but the area in the back allowed us to enjoy both the music and conversation. There was a large selection of specialty cocktails and I enjoyed The Good Witch, a mixture of vodka, basil, and citrus. We ordered a light dinner, obviously to save room for dessert, but the pastas were decadent without being too heavy. The mushroom risotto was fabulous and the hearty mushrooms and fragrant white wine are making my leftovers call to me from the fridge even though it is still breakfast time the day after. We ordered both a chocolate cake and a banana walnut semifreddo to share with the table for dessert and the semifreddo was by far the best, leading to a little bit of spoon jousting to get the last bite! Only note of caution is that it is a little drafty in the back of the restaurant for a cold night. Not the best place to go with short sleeves or you might end up dining in your coat, but our waiter kindly offered to turn up the heat a bit after noting our bundledness.

Hard to believe Campagnolo has been open for four years and I just had my first visit in 2016. I’d been reluctant to check it out early on, since previous restaurants had little luck staying open. Also, they make their own pasta in house, and that can be tricky for those with Celiac disease. But after seeing«Anomalisa» at the Midtown Art cinema, I finally worked up the courage to walk through the door and ask if they could accommodate my gluten allergy. I’m so glad I did. In fact, quite of few of their menu items are naturally gluten free, or can be served sans bread. My dining companion and I opted to share the mushroom carpaccio salad, a tasty vegetarian riff on the standard beef carpaccio. It’s a large portion and good for sharing. Steve, our stellar server, carefully walked me through their menu, pointing out my options for entrees. I eventually decided to try the catch of the day — seared ahi tuna served over spinach and spaghetti squash. It was excellently cooked and quite delicious. My friend ordered the ribeye and pronounced it very good. He also enjoyed the dipping sauce provided with the bread basket, although he said the bread was fairly standard issue. We dined early in the evening, and the ambiance was nice and quiet tucked into one of the booths near the back. Our only minor complaint was the music playing — seemed like light jazz covers of classic songs which left us wanting to hear the originals. I understand this place gets hopping later in the evenings and on the weekends, and I may venture back one Friday night to check out the karaōke. Or for the weekend brunch. Love that I found another neighborhood joint close to home.

This place was fantastic. We came in for an early dinner, were greater immediately, and even valeted the car for free. Our server was nice and recommended some great dishes. The food was awesome. The sauce for the calamari was amazing. My girlfriend had the orecchiette and I had the gnocchi, both were phenomenal. We will definitely be coming back!

Ehhhh! After spending a long day at the Georgia Aquarium, my husband, my in-laws, and I found this place nearby for dinner. There was a tiny parking lot that seems to share with the pet store next door but there were spots available and it was close to the restaurant. Once we entered, the first thing that hit us was that it was LOUD — but we were immediately seated in the back where it was a bit quieter but still loud enough to not be able to carry on a conversation. The waiter came by the table to take our orders — the chicken, the gnocchi, and the salmon as well as the appetizers — chicken liver mousse and rice balls. The rice balls were really good — fried well and flavored with the right kind of sauces. I cannot comment on the chicken liver. When the main entrée came out, the dishes looked, er, different than what I had imagined. They served a painfully small portion of the gnocchi and the chicken looked very much like a chicken-and-noodle soup. And my dish was their lasagna… but wait, I didn’t order the lasagna. After about a few minutes of trying to get the attention of the waiter, they finally took it back and got me the salmon. The waiters/waitresses were nice about it — apologized and I think they made it a priority to have the salmon ready asap. The salmon wasn’t cooked well — it was overcooked, dry, and blah. It was not worth waiting the extra time for the salmon to be cooked. All in all, there were some hits, some misses, definitely not a family-friendly restaurant, but I doubt I’ll be coming back anytime soon,.

The number of stars to give is really tough because the décor, location and food were all amazing! I had the sausage frittata and it was seriously delicious. The balsamic on top was a nice touch! I would definitely go back to have this again. Now for the cons: the Bloody Mary is not only pretty spicy but had so many spices and seasonings in it that it was chunky and hard to drink. Like drinking sand. And sadly, our server Steve was pretty terrible. He didn’t tell us the specials which we heard other servers doing and he acted as though he was swamped with tables even though he really only had a few because the inside was empty it was only a full patio with multiple servers not just him. Next time I will def have the frittata but try the Bellini and hope for a different server!

I am sad this place was a disappointment for Sunday brunch. We were a group of women and we ordered a variety of dishes. There was french toast on the table, omelet, polenta(or grits) with eggs, shrimp & grits and my dish was a Caprese(Heirloom Tomato & Mozzarella) salad. I asked if the salad comes with some greens and Daniel offered to give me arugula with the salad, nice gesture. After I tasted the tomatoes, this restaurant lost most of the points. Heirloom tomato? More like Roma tomatoes from Kroger. The arugula and the mozzarella tasted nice, especially with the balsamic reduction however overall the salad was underwhelming. My peach Bellini was also average. Daniel was a great server and on his game with drinks. And the location of this place is fantastic but the food leaves much to be desired.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while since it’s so close to my place. And finally we tried it. The parking situation could be a lil confusing since Piedmont is a one way street. Valet is in front of the 10th&piedmont bar, just FYI. Food: the salumi was good, pasta and Italian wedding soup was both delicious. Roasted cauliflower tasted a bit strange, not my taste. Service: our waiter was awesome. Very attentive and friendly. Overall, I’d go back if I want Italian and don’t wanna go too far.

Campagnolo has become one of my favorite brunch spots. Who would’ve known that a nice Italian restaurant has great brunch?! The best part of the restaurant is their front patio that overlooks Piedmont. One a sunny, breezy day, there’s nothing better than sipping some mimosas or beach bellinis(refills are ½ off). I ordered the Campagnolo breakfast, which sounds like a basic 2 eggs any way, polenta(grits), sausage, and toast. But my God… this simple breakfast was infused with crazy awesome Italian flavors and upgraded to a whole new level. Those sausages were sweet and spicy, and added great flavor to the polenta and eggs. The ciabatta toast also had nice flavors and textures as well to complement the rest of the dish. This may have been my favorite breakfast ever. I also tried a bite of my friend’s Eggs Benedict which also had great Italian flavors in it — mortadella(sausage), and tomato hollandaise. My other friend ordered the shrimp and polenta(grits), and it had bacon sun-dried tomato pesto! Both were amazingly fantastic. Parking is a bit difficult in the Piedmont area, but if you’re able to snag a spot, I would highly recommend coming to Campagnolo for their weekend brunch and top it off with a nice walk around the park. The missed star goes to service — everything seemed to come slower than we would’ve liked.

I’m a huge fan of Italian food. I came here expecting authentic and unique Italian food. I got what I wanted. Campagnolo is a very clean and modern for an Italian restaurant. The service was wonderful! EJ took awesome care of us. The patio was popular when the weather is nice. There is a bar and seating from 2 to how ever many people they can fit in the small restaurant. The restroom is unisex. For starters, we had the calamari di Sicily. The calamari is not the typical fried squids you see at other Italian restaurants. It’s sautéed with pine nuts, golden raisins, white wine, tomatoes and scallions. It’s heaven and a real treat for your taste buds. The arugula and roasted beet salads were fresh and delicious as expected. However what I didn’t expect was pickled egg slices in the roasted beet salad. It adds a nice je né sais quoi to the flavor. It was surprising and refreshing for a salad topping. For dinner, I had the spaghetti. It’s not the ordinary spaghetti your mom fed you when you were six. This spaghetti was made of squid ink pasta and served with prawns and thickly shaved parmesan cheese. This was my first time trying squid ink pasta and I was very excited and impressed with it. I think I’m going to start eating only squid ink pasta from now on… OK maybe not. It was very good. What I expected when I saw prawns on the menu was a mini lobster with the head and tail still on but cut down the middle for easy access. I thought that would be a beautiful presentation but what do I know? What I got was a peeled shrimp with the tail ends which may be easier for people to devour. My friends had the gnocchi, Cornish hen and capellini. All of them loved it. I had a bite of the Cornish hen and it was like rotisserie chicken on top of potato soup. That was very good. The only thing I did not like was the bread they served before dinner. It was dry but I’m not there for the bread. For dessert, we had the Banana Walnut Semifreddo which has warm beignet and salted caramel. This was Campagnolo’s signature dessert and it was fantastic. I think I will enjoy coming here again and again. The food is great, service is great and they offer the uniqueness I’m always hungry for. Good job, Campagnolo.

I have passed Campagnolo a ton of times riding down Piedmont. I also take my dog to the groomer next door, The Pet Set, and would always see people seemingly enjoying themselves on the patio(with their dogs, nonetheless). Made a mental note, though I’m not sure why it took us so long to check this place out… so glad we did! My hubby and I had a very relaxing, delicious dinner on the patio early Saturday evening. I guess we just beat the rush, because by 8pm the restaurant was packed. If you arrive around 7ish, you can probably find parking and a nice table! The inside of the place is nicely appointed and larger than I thought it would be. Also, the service was excellent, which always improves the overall experience. Please note… the portion sizes are large for both the appetizers and meals. If I had known that, I literally would have ordered less food. Either way, we started with the Mussels(had a slightly sweet broth) and the Calamari(it’s sautéed, not fried, and comes in Marinara sauce over grilled bread) – we enjoyed both immensely! Sadly, I was full after that. But, I already had an order in for the Mushroom Risotto(very earthy taste), which you will probably like if you’re a mushroom lover… it wasn’t my favorite. My husband ordered the Lamb Marsala and we had a side of Brussels Sprouts. Overall, the experience was terrific. Next time, we won’t order as much and definitely save room for dessert. Happy Eating!

Had a great brunch experience at Campagnolo! The dishes are varied and delicious and refills on drinks are only $ 3. BLOODYMARY — prepared deliciously and served very nicely. I still give Canoe the award for best Bloody Marys in Atlanta, but this was spectacular — RELAXING patio with lots of seating! Being the first warm day of spring in Atlanta, it was absolutely spectacular to have Sunday brunch outside. — DOGFRIENDLY atmosphere. Lots of people with dogs and I noticed that waiters brought them little bowls of water. — CAMPAGNOLOBURGER was excellent, the bun was especially soft and delicious. Served with a side of extra greasy onion rings, perfect remedy for a hangover. Probably the greasiest onion rings I’ve had outside of the Varsity.

My girlfriend and I dined here for the first time to take advantage of a Travelzoo deal. We came for dinner on a Monday night and to our surprise, the restaurant is large and roomy with a nice patio overlooking Piedmont. Inside, we were the only diners and a couple of people were seated outside, but there was never a crowd throughout our meal. Valet parking was not available, so we both parked in the lot near the corner of 10th and Piedmont. The Travelzoo deal includes one appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert. We chose the Antipasti Board for our appetizer, which includes a chef’s selection of cured meats, gorgonzola, and basil mascarpone. This was incredibly, incredibly delicious as you can tell from my picture. I really loved everything on this plate, from the meats to the cheeses to the mix of sweet and salty. It’s one of the better Antipasti boards I’ve had and I would highly recommend ordering this; it was the highlight of my meal. For my main, I ordered a special: the scallop ravioli which consisted of four ravioli stuffed with scallop in a creamy sauce. It was a bit heavy for my preference, but the taste was delicious and the scallops were appealing. The dish was topped with scallops too as an extra treat. Service was excellent and overall, this is a great hidden gym in the middle of midtown. Great for dinner and some good food!

Campagnolo has a pretty good rating on Unilocal and I just had to try the lasagna that was often mentioned. Let me tell you something; that lasagna is the truth yo! For real, it’s best that I’ve had. Made with bolognese sauce and bechamel cheese, it was quite remarkable. I enjoyed it immensely. I must say, though, that I don’t particularly care for how the calamari is prepared. It’s in a tomato based sauced and served on top of bread, which gets soggy pretty quickly. It’s not breaded nor fried. Our server did a great job attending to our party of eight. Glasses were refilled properly and we were checked on at the appropriate intervals. I really liked the space and atmosphere of the place. Whatever Pandora or Spotify station they had it on was a good one. I savored that lasagna while grooving a bit to some Maxwell, Erykah Badu, and some D’Angelo. Smooth. They have complimentary valet parking and while the restaurant is on Piedmont, you enter off of 10th. Because you have to leave the same way you come in and this is the same valet parking area for several other restaurants(like Zocola), it was a tight pickle with cars coming and going in a cramped space. Overall, I found this place to be a good one. I know for sure that I’ll be back for that lasagna.
