We had our basement finished by CER Custom Renovations and were very pleased with the work. It did take a little longer than originally planned or expected but in all fairness, it was to our benefit as there were unexpected issues that existed with our basement that could not be seen until it was uncovered during the demolition phase. We were immediately notified of the existing damage and given options to rectify it and move forward with the project. Of course we could have asked for a bandaid fix but that would have caused more problems later. Chris did his best to minimize the repair cost while still keeping quality material and workmanship and not to mention still keep our original project scope within budget. If we had any questions or concerns, we were given a return call within 24 hrs. We would recommend CER because we feel good ethics, professionalism, and quality of work is what they exemplify.

Évaluation du lieu : 1 Atlanta, GA
Reading the reviews my husband and I were excited to hire Chris. He was great at first: said the right things, fair price and oh-lala custom cabinets! We were thrilled. After nearly 13 weeks, we still do not have a bathroom or a kitchen(the two rooms we’re renovating), when our contract stated 8 weeks, and our bathroom was promised in 2! He did so many things wrong, I can’t think of one thing that was done right the first time or even second(we are on 3 and 4). The wrong rendering was sent to the cabinet makers and installed; wrong measurements taken for our bathroom vanity, faulty tile work(kitchen and bath), damaged our vent hood, a gaping hole in the cabinets in our kitchen, the list is about 40 lines long, I kid not! The workers even broke our front door and no one has repaired it. There were excuses and complaints and absolutely no apologies. Our house is old – big deal – many homes in Atlanta are old(and older than mine). The workers were crude and unprofessional: cursing, littering cigarette butts all over my yard, drinking on my property, spitting on my floor, one old man even harassed two of my neighbors. We tried giving Chris the benefit of the doubt, but after learning he is not even a licensed contractor in GA, we started getting really suspicious(that and the workers rarely showing up). We hope to dissuade anyone else from falling prey to Chris’s smooth talking. We wish we’d gone with any other contractor!
