The outside looked promising, but the inside was not matched. The inside is a little dingy and falling apart at some spots. They seem confused on the vibe they are going for. The staff was friendly but seemed short staffed and would often forget our requests such as our drinks and silverware. The sandwiches were disappointing and we think it was microwaved in order to melt the cheese. Best part was the potato chips that were packaged. Would come back if good and environment was redone.

You know those Febreeze commercials where they blindfold unsuspecting strangers and make them smell trash and fish bones and prove the product covers up the stench even through the trash is right in front of their face? That’s what Chamblee Bistro is like. It’s a dive bar with a fancy name. In a nutshell food was awful(whole ingredients were missing from two of our dishes), service was worse and atmosphere was, well, dirty. This is the kind of place you go to for last call, not for meals.

Well, the food was OK tasting, not the best I’ve had. Service was friendly, but I felt it was over-priced. I don’t know if I’ll come back here again.

This was ok. I ordered the tarragon chicken salad sandwich, my companion ordered the southwest chicken sandwich. Her sandwich was swimming in sauce and made for a horrible mess. My tarragon chicken salad sandwich was ok, but it was more celery and apple than chicken, which was disappointing. The breads were good, but if you miss the mark on bread and call yourself a bistro then you’ve got problems. We both ordered tea which was weak and flavorless(unsweetened, but that shouldn’t matter). We had to ask for sweetener, napkins, and silverware as our table was bare. Each sandwich was $ 6.75. Her sandwich definitely had a lot more meat on it, but my sandwich wasn’t worth more than $ 5.50 considering I pulled a forkful of salad out and it was ALL celery. I’m not kidding.

Good food at a good price. Friendly service and nice patio. Love the quesadilla and the kabobs and the burgers.

It use to be my go to place for lunch in Chamblee, but now, not so sure. My biggest gripe is that the food quantity has changed but the prices stayed the same. Smaller portions at the same price…

Disorganized operation with mediocre food at best. Floors are dirty and dusty and unhelpful staff. I phoned in my order for pick up and ultimately had to wait 25 min to get a Tuna Salad Sandwich(which was soggy and tasteless) for the outrageous price of almost $ 9.00 with no side item or drink. Have given a couple chances to see improvements from the new owners and besides adding a bar nothing has changed. When I told the manger I wouldn’t be returning, he didn’t ask why or what the problem was all he said was«have a nice day» top notch management if you ask me…

This is my second visit to Chamblee Bistro or lunch… I was really hoping to get a better experience than the first time I went there. This time I ordered just an appetizer .and it came out quickly but pretty but underwhelming… Small Quesadilla and Tea… $ 10 without tip… The place is just not inviting and friendly… can’t say anyone did anything wrong… just didn’t feel comfortable… It’s so close to my office I really wanted it to be great so I would have another place to go each day. Great Location and the place looks inviting on the outside… just didn’t happen for me !!

LOL, you’re closed down for a reason. You SUCKED! Stopped in for the first time since the third set of owners sold it yet again. I made the mistake of not ordering my old favorite, but opted for the burger instead. Big mistake. It was just some off the shelf frozen patty with no flavor and tough as a shoe. The burger came with absolutely no condiments on it and the server didn’t even think to inform. This was a to go order and just too far to drive back. Several owners ago, they actually made the best bistro burgers there were in Atlanta. I’m extremely unimpressed, the Downwind at PDK have amazing burgers that aren’t some out of a box in the freezer patties.

I work down the street from Chamblee Bistro. From what I understand, they have new owners — and it shows! It’s bright and cheery in there now, their menu is great and the staff is really nice. However, they never seem to have enough people working as waiters. The sandwiches do come out fast, but you are sitting there forever to order and get a refill on your drink. The sandwiches are amazing but do not come with any sides. They do sell chips, but they are all the loaded in fat kind(wish they had pretzels or some Baked Lays as options). I would be happy if they offered a sandwich combo(chips, sandwich and soda) for under $ 10. Or a lunch punch program like Vintage down the street offers(buy 6 lunches, get 1 free). I have become quite a regular(as I said, I work in this area) and just hope they are reading this!!!

Our sandwiches were delicious. The tuna artichoke and the French dip. Nice way to start our adventure on antique row. Service was very attentive and helpful.

I’m one of those annoying Gluten Free people, so it was nice seeing on the menu that they have gluten free options. I had the Chicken Salad, it was great! My boyfriend had the Reuben which was fantastic… granted I only had the meat portion :) They also have Kettle Chips! They don’t have a fryer so don’t expect any fries or other fried items :) The service was quick, which was perfect for us since we were on a lunch break from work!

Meh. Coffee was cold, no silverware, no sides come with sandwiches. It’s basically like eating at an indoor food truck. Service was not great. Unilocal… took away my not impressed photo. Oh well, I guess speech is not free. Imagine if you will a US gymnast with a rather unimpressed look on her face. That’s what you’ll look like when you leave this place… take away my hilarious memes, I’ll take away your stars!

We own a business across the street from the bistro and really wanted a restaurant for lunch in addition to the always consistent and excellent vintage pizza. The food at the Old Chamblee Bistro has been awful since we opened 6 years ago… then wonder of wonders it was sold to new openers. We are so happy because now we have a delicious place for lunch or cocktails after we close. The restaurant has remodeled and is now simply decorated and clean, with the nicest people running it. You should try it again if you were disappointed before. Their health rating is now 96!

My mother in law and I went for lunch today and everything was amazing! The service was perfect today!!! I had the Chamblee club which was delicious as always. My partner in crime tried the BLT for the first time and we were both impressed by the size of the sandwich, how fresh the tomatoes were and the huge amount of bacon. We will be back soon!

Great local restaurant to hang out and feel like one of the crowd. This is exactly the place that Cheers was based upon. Ask for Robert and Erica. We went there on a Friday night to unwind and it was a wonderful experience. Low key, great food, good conversation. No pressure, no overwhelming crowds, just a nice way to spend an evening. Highly recommend.

The sign over the door is new! It’s now big and beautiful. It’s sleek and modern. It’s easily read from the street. Just perfect. I’ve now been back more than half a dozen times, almost always trying something new(I can’t quit that Turkey Rachel), and everything has always been top notch delicious. Service is attentive, but still give you time to eat in peace. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I really just love this place so much.

We came here for trivia one night, but since we sat on the patio(as part of a group and we were the last to get there), we couldn’t hear the questions despite there being a speaker. I guess it wasn’t linked to the computer or something. The sandwiches took forever to arrive, the server took equally as long to finally give us our bills when we wanted to go home(she forgot what we ordered or something and had us recite it back to her, then asked for us to give her our names as if it matters somehow?) and then it took quite a while to finally get the receipt so I could sign it and leave. Definitely plan to spend a long time waiting for every aspect of service. Also, the sandwiches came with nothing except a pickle and were about $ 8 each. My mom’s Tuscan chicken wasn’t very flavorful and my reuben was a bit soggy. No sides or anything… At least we lost at trivia so we don’t have to come back.

Where to begin… you should have done your homework before grand opening. Service D– server forgot what we ordered asked us twice, and then forgot the water and chips. We had to remind server whAt we had for dinner when checking out, no where to sign a credit card. Food: nothing special, any mom can throw sandwiches together, No burgers or hot sandwiches, or at least the server couldn’t tell us what was hot. Ambiance: there was none We MAY come back next year to see if you made improvements
