I had a big weekend planned and I felt it only right to treat myself to a new pair of jeans. This weekend Charlotte Russe had a sale, buy one pair get one for $ 15(which is basically a half off sale). Of course I found the cutest jeans, super low rise, dark rinse, straight leg. love em’. So I ended up buying two pair of the same jeans. Negatives– I bought the exact same pair of jeans, same size and all, but they fit completely different. One pair is double snug(snug like spandex), while the other are the fit I was going for(snug in the right places). Also although it’s only a half an inch one leg is longer than the other. So after I get home and realize the miscut(on both pairs of jeans) I go back to to the store to show the reps my discovery(of course she said it wasn’t even obvious). I opt to get a size bigger thinking that maybe since I bought the last two pair in the size I originally wanted it was a fluke. Well I went from pants being fit like latex to pants being big like a sack. When the h@ll did the Charlotte Russe become so low budget? At the very least can they make their prices reflect the quality of the clothes? For the past 10 years I’ve shopped Charlotte Russe and I’ve never had this problem. I’m not sure if it’s this specific store since their jean selection isn’t as abundant as other locations, but I’m totally turned off by this. The girls working here are little out of it, they seem to pick and choose which customers they greet, they walk around the store sans shoes(I mean the carpet is stained from dirt and God knows what else, how nasty is that?!), If the traffic near Perimeter wasn’t such a pain in the @ss for me I would totally drive the extra few miles for a better experience.
