Checkers is good, and after looking at these reviews I so disagree. I’ve gotten to know the people that work here, they are great people all the time to meet, and the food is outstandingly great. So far the best burger joint in Doraville!

I’m writting this as I am waiting in line on their drive through literally been there for the past 15 mins … Needless to say how slow service is. I like their fries, and their desserts (different sundaes). Not too sure about the burgers as they’re super small and overpriced. I probably won’t return to this particular location because I have now been there for 20 mins and nobody seem to care about that sad fact …

Awful food. I ordered two of their fish sandwiches and received nasty leathery refried that looked left over from the previous day cold fish. The drive up worker snatched my money shoved the food and change at me and shut the window. When I noticed how nasty the food was I tried getting their attention but they ignored me and I never even got a refund. I will never eat at checkers again. I threw the food in the trashcan nearby and drove off disgusted.

SLOW and ignorant staff who could care less!
We went today and ordered at the window and after the third time repeating the order they got it right. We pull up and pay and still the food is not ready so have to wait a few minutes for them to surface when they wave us around to pick up the order at the drive up closed window. They still forgot to give us the coke so we get their attn and finally got the coke. This place is falling apart fast. I give them months before McDonald’s takes all the customers. STAY AWAY from this hole in the wall!

I have been to this location several times as it is near my house, and I refuse to return. They are horribly slow, the second drive thru is never open, and the employees are cold and rude. The last time I went there, I had 2 other people in the car with me. I gave one of the three meals I wanted to order, and the employee said, «Thank you, pull up to the window.» We were unsuccessful at getting him to return to take the rest of the order. We pulled up to the window and after about 10 minutes of waiting we said, «screw this», and we left.

What can I say. The burgers here are very good and Checkers has some seasoning on the meat that has just got me hooked. And those little apple pies are great, esp. when they are cooked fresh and hot. You get a great meal at an excellent price!
Now, the fries and onion rings I can do without. The grease is a little to stiff for my tastes.
