C. & J. Clark International Ltd, or Clarks, is a British shoe manufacturer and retailer that was founded in 1825 by Quaker brothers Cyrus and James Clark in Somerset, England. Their shoes are made to last. My negative review is not for the shoes but for the service. The salesperson(both of the women) were clueless when I asked about waterproof shoes.

Excellent service from the staff. Really comfortable and fashionable shoes. Great quality craftsmanship. I had no idea Clarks shoes were this good. A really good ratio of quality to price!

Clarks has totally cute shoes, who knew? While killing some time at the mall on a random Thursday night, I stopped into Clarks after seeing a cute pair of shoes in the window. I’m headed to Florida in a couple of weeks and I have been itching for some cute shoes for the spring. I tried on the pair I saw in the window and they fit well and were super comfortable. You can go for that orthopedic look if you desire, but they do have a bunch of comfortable, cute shoes. In fact, I ended up buying two pairs of shoes. I declined to try anything else on for fear of falling in love with yet another pair of shoes. The customer service was great. Present and helpful without being too«much.» One of the shoes I wanted they did not have in the color I wanted. I tried on another pair for size and they are shipping the color I want to my house for free! You will not get 5 inch platform stilettos here, but if you are looking for cute yet comfortable shoes, I totally recommend checking out Clarks.

This Clarks is located on the 2nd floor of Lenox Square Mall on the side closest to the food court. I stopped in here one weeknight evening to look for a new pair of black dress shoes to wear to the office and occasionally wear with my suit. In a matter of only a few minutes, I was able to find a shoe I liked. Not only that, but the pair was on sale for $ 74.99(regularly $ 89.99) and the store had my size. Perfect. Azza was the only sales associate working the store that night and she was able to quickly locate my size, have me try them on, and check me out. She was very efficient and didn’t drag out my visit. I was literally in the store for maybe only a total of 10 – 15 minutes. I didn’t think I’d be able to find a new pair of shoes(that I liked so much) so quickly. I went with some Bostonian Flexlites which are ultra comfortable and lightweight. Win.
