Good phở but I was very disappointed that the cha gio(fried spring rolls) were made with wheat wrappers and not the traditional rice paper wrappers. I’ve only been able to get them made correctly from a Vietnamese friends mother, and I’ve had to learn how to make them myself in order to get my fix. I thought Com, as one of the highest rated Vietnamese restaurants in Atlanta, might fix them the right way but alas. And there really is no comparison. Atlanta is an up and coming foodie haven, so Vietnamese restaurant owners/chefs, please consider offering the traditional rice paper wrapped fried spring rolls as an option.(If any do, or any readers know of any who do, please let me know. I will have a new favorite, and I’ll spread the word.)

One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to in Atlanta. The food came out really fast and was delicious. We ordered the basil spring roll with lemongrass sausage and green papaya salad with lamb for starters. Both were great, but the papaya salad was the best I’ve ever had. For entrees, we got the shrimp red curry and the duck stuff grape leaves. Both also amazing. We will definitely be back!

A foodie friend took me to this place. Knowing that I love all things Vietnamese and was wanting to try more Vietnamese foods, he was sure I would fall in love with Com. He was correct. The food here is absolutely amazing. FRESH is the word of the day here. The ingredients were so unbelievably fresh and flavorful. You can sense a real respect for food in every bite. Each dish I tried had a brightness to it that was phenomenal. To achieve those elevated flavors while keeping a light hand is wonderful. I’m also happy to report that their papaya salad is on my personal list of Top 10 dishes in Atlanta. What a treat. Thanks for a great food experience Co’m! Keep up the good work. Pros: great food, great prices, amazing flavor profiles Cons: at some point you have to stop eating

They gave me so much smoke, but I didn’t even get high! Beef is seasoned with smoke flavor. Not authentic. Pretty«atlanta-ized versions of what Vietnamese food should be. Check out the other spot in the shopping center, Lee’s.

We came to eat in once and got togo twice. I’m still struggling to remember what I had when we dined in but still craving the delicious feast we ordered to go. Best part about dining in is the free dessert — coffee chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. We had gotten the pot grilled beef and shrimps for four(36.95) and it comes with a good amount of food. The shrimps are usually over-grilled and pretty charred. The beef is very flavorful and great in rolls. They don’t provide very much sides so we usually buy extra lettuce and banh hoi to eat with the combo. My main gripe is that they seem to be cutting back on the amount of beef they provide in each order. Nice upscale(for a Vietnamese restaurant) atmosphere with pretty good Vietnamese food. Located in the corner of a small plaza along with Lee’s Bakery.

I went on a date here and fell in love almost immediately. I had the ha noi to start and then had the noodles with lamb… so good. It was so good that I brought my mom here. I got the same thing and she got the shaken beef. She said it was just ok… she then proceeded to get sick for two days. She said she thinks a few prices of the beef weren’t good. I didn’t let that deter me! I went back… got the same thing… and then found a PIECE of HAIR. Realizing this place might have some health and safety concerns I took a look at their health inspection report. The latest I could find was a report from 2015 where they scored a U for unsatisfactory. Because of this combination of events I probably won’t be coming back. Disappointing because the food was good but I’m not a risk taker when it comes to me health. Article:

This seems like a fusion of vietnamese and thai food. I ordered the papaya salad thinking it would be sour and spicy like the thai version, but it was dressed in the vietnamese sweet sauce. It was different but not bad. Although, I definitely prefer the thai version better. The grilled mussels were my favorite. The mussels were big and grilled perfectly. It was topped with scallions and fried onions. It’s absolutely my favorite. I also had the vermicelli with pork. It was average, I’ve had better. Overall, I enjoyed the food(mostly the mussels!). The ambience was nicer than most places on bufford. Prices were just a few bucks higher than average vietnamese places on bufford but still affordable.

Ordered the papaya salad(no meats) and chicken basil roll. One of the best papaya salads I’ve ever experienced. Next time I’ll request to have it spicy. My shrimp phở was good and hearty but I prefer Nam Phuong. Next time I’ll order the lettuce wraps; seemed to be a popular dish. Service was okay. Décor was surprisingly pleasant. Reservations recommended on Saturday evenings.

A social group that I am a member of had dinner here on a Wednesday evening recently. We were able to acquire a table for 8 — 10 people fairly easy(with a call a few hours ahead). The service was prompt and the décor was basic. I tried pork and seafood dishes and found them to be tasty. Again, no house specials that were standouts, but all the Viet basics were here. For my portion, I dropped about $ 42.00 including tip, and considered that good for 2 appetizers, 2 Thai beers, and an entrée.

Loved loved loved it! Wish I had this joint in my neighborhood. Everything super fresh and tasty. Table salad had 3 kinds of herbs on it. Roll your own with table side rice paper holder was ourself favorite. Basil rolls also very good. Phở a little less than perfect but good. I’d go grilled here. Go! Clean with good service as well. Don’t be put off by dirty parking lot!

This is by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant! The service is above and beyond. The waiters know me by name and what I order! Their complementary dessert is to die for.

Fan favorite. Great prices, fast service and you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Not a fan of the free deserts for dinner but hey it’s free. Bun vercelli, pad Thai, the vercelli wrappers in rice paper… List goes on. Apps are good hear and fairly priced making it possible to try different ones. Bang bang lamb wontons are a must!

Not bad but I didn’t like Phở that I had. Doesn’t mean the food wasn’t good tho. My date enjoyed her curry.

Oldie but goodie. C’om had fallen off my radar. But why? They’re still in the same place… serving up the same delectable treats, with the same great service. I went back to my old familiar standby… an order of basil rolls and special rice with grilled pork. Perfect fried egg, super fresh carrots and cucumbers and that amazing grilled meat that I remembered. C’om, I’ll never let this much time pass before I return! I noticed that they have phở now… didn’t remember that from before. My friend got a shrimp phở, which i didn’t try, but it was a super generous portion, lots of shrimp, fragrant broth and all of the standard sides. They didn’t have any of the delish meat options that I like in mine: no tendon or tripe, but it did look good. Complimentary dessert plate… nice little freebie. I wasn’t crazy about the mocha cake but my friend definitely was, and the ice cream… with chocolate covered peanuts and drizzled in choc sauce? Much appreciated.

Stopped by on a recent business trip and all I can say is WOW!!! The food was excellent, as there were 7 of us, able to try some different items and all were very tasty. This is definitely bookmarked as a place to go. Also got a free dessert. Could not ask for anything more.

Buford Highway has some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Com is not up to par. Go somewhere else. I tried three things: the garden spring rolls, and the two stir fry meals at the top right of the menu. Garden Spring Rolls: This is the best thing that I had while I was there. It’s just what you’d expect — fresh, healthy, and tasty. Still, it’s pretty small. I’m not sure it’s worth the $ 3.25 they’re charging. Stir Fry Meals: I ate the tofu stir fry. It was alright. It had little color and little flavor. The tofu was fried right and obviously the rice was fine, but the vegetables and the sauce were underwhelming. I sampled my tablemate’s chicken stir fry. It was basically the same thing. Neither of us was impressed. Otherwise: They served us a free desert, which was tasty. That was nice touch. But otherwise, I didn’t like the restaurant. They were playing american pop music(e.g., Katy Perry). It took away from the atmosphere. Also, I’m pretty sure the employee that used the bathroom before me didn’t wash his hands. When I went in, the toilet was still refilling. I ran a test, and it doesn’t take long for that thing to refill. He must have left the bathroom within seconds of flushing. I can only hope that either he doesn’t handle food or that he washed his hands when he got back to the kitchen.

I love this place!!! My favorite Vietnamese food around me for sure! I love all things noodles and this place has never disappointed me! The vermecielli noodles are amazing and this time tried the phở and pad Thai! The phở soup wasn’t oily at all and all the food tasted really healthy and clean! The pad Thai was really healthy as well! It has Brussels sprouts :) The restaurant itself is small but it’s really clean and the ambience is good! The service is really good too, with lots of smiling faces! I come often and will continue to come often! Oo and… There’s always free dessert :) how can you hate that!

The service was great here, very attentive and helpful The atmosphere was relaxing and the prices were very reasonable I had the tofu curry, it was creamy and spicy and cooked perfectly. It didn’t have cheap vegetables, there was some arugula, squash and sprouts — tasty! My friend had the shrimp pad Thai and loved it There is an extensive wine list and a few $ 4 beers(domestics and import) The best part … Free dessert! Coffee ice cream and toffee tiramisu drizzled with chocolate sauce Great for dinner with friends or a date night

Have been eating Vietnamese food for a good 15yrs and have been in great restaurants, however this place sets itself from the others with great variety of food and let’s not mention the taste . Small casual place nothing fancy but with huge potential . We Dine here at least two times a week and besides the great taste, another thing that I have come to notice is the consistency of their meals which are always 100% consistent with absolutely zero changes(Huge plus) and let’s not forget the customer service . They are very attentive and extremely polite and that’s what you everyone really look for during your visit to a establishment . The price: Super lower prices imo for such a great quality really makes this place my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant . Just so you know, I drive 20 minutes for this each way …
