I agree 100% with the 10÷9÷2012 review. I want to add that if your child will be at this center outside of when the«lead» teacher is scheduled, you might want to double think your decision. After a year and a half I have had enough and my child will no longer be at this center. Staffing issues that involve next to no training seem to be the norm between the 3 rooms my child has been in at this location. When the lead teachers are out sick or on vacation, the rooms are run well below standard and it is pure chaos. My child was consistently not given milk we provided(they don’t have organic milk available), daily communication logs were not filled out to properly record the day’s events or create accountability, my child was not changed with normal frequency(so changing of clothing was done entirely too much after my child slept in a saturated diaper during nap time), and the list continues when the lead teacher wasn’t present. Stay away from this center at all costs! When you try to address concerns, you get empty apologizes and shoulder shrugs. Such a shame.

i really hate writing this review. really, truly i do. but it has to be done. i received a survey by way of email from Kindercare corporate asking why I took my child out of this facility. WHERETOBEGIN. i’m sure any parent who is scoping out childcare for their little bundle of joy will understand when she first walks through the door of this facility, something is most definitely wrong. this center is never full. there’s a reason — REASONS — for that. 1. The center director was unceremoniously DUMPED on a Tuesday. The assistant center director was moved to another center. The new center director is a very nice woman; however the new assistant center director NEVER bothered to introduce herself to me, shake my hand, or ask my child’s name. NOTHING. By the way, there was never a memo circulated among parents as to the change in leadership at the center. I am not the only person that pulled my son after this incident. 2. MYSONCAMEHOMEEVERYDAYOFTHESUMMERCOVEREDINBUGBITES. Bug bites up his legs. Because I know where my son is at all times when he is with me, I know he was not getting these bites anywhere but daycare. I was told to bring bug repellent. How it was not incumbent on the center to provide a safe, healthy environment for children is beyond me. BUTWHYISTHISCENTERSWARMINGWITHMOSQUITOS. Georgia and especially the Atlanta metro region expereinced a record number of West Nile Virus cases this past summer. My son’s new facility does not require bug spray. Why does yours? Why do you not have pride of ownership enough to invest in the facility, or even engage property management to ensure it is properly sprayed for bugs, both inside and outside the facility? 3. Various — The center always smelled like dirty diapers. The rooms were oftentimes dirty and not properly cleaned — and I don’t mean cleaned to a checklist standard, I mean deep cleaned. It was clear that between the corporate ownership and property management no one cared enough about the facility to ensure the facility had clean air and proper exhaust. My son came home with hand foot and mouth disease. My son came home with multiple bite marks that went unnoticed in the classroom, so he was getting bit — as the youngest child in his room by older children — and no one noticed. I watched a boy grab my son by the neck one time. the teacher did nothing. NONEOFTHETOYSREQUIRINGBATTERIESEVERWORKED. WHYNOTREPLACETHEBATTERIESORBROKENTOYS. WHYDOESN’T THEOWNERCAREENOUGH — oh that’s right. They’re on the West coast. Not even local. AVOIDCORPORATEOWNEDDAYCAREFACILITIES. 4. I received two calls about a week prior to my son’s last day. He had bug bites, I think for one call. The other was for a finger that swelled up — and no one knew what happened. When I confronted the center director and said, «Look my kid’s got one week left, he better not come home with as much as food on his clothes» she stood and listened to me. The assistant center director — still don’t her name! — turned around and walked away. 5. Whatever changes were put in place when the new center directors came in really riled their employees. Teachers would just start randomly disappearing, and the parents were never informed. For the employees who remain, who were and are still dedicated to their children, YOUDESERVEBETTER. PARENTS: seek out a facility for your child that id owner operated. Of the three facilities my son has attended in his lifetime, two have been owner operated. You will notice an immediate difference in how the facility is run when the actual stakeholder is onsite. Also: The center director listed on the Unilocal site is wrong. And god knows who the new assistant center director is. I sure don’t!
