I placed a simple to go order today– egg sandwich; piece of cake and large latte. It took 40 minutes to receive my order. I had to remind them that I ordered a latte. I got home within 2 minutes. My sandwich was extremely cold and oily. The latte was luke warm and bland. I would not recommend this restaurant!

Great to have a local coffee spot in town Brookhaven! Great coffee and selection. Drip coffee flavor changes every day, pretty cool. Good lattes.

The wait was worth it! Even thought it took about 20 minutes to be served our breakfast when there was no wait I must have eaten the best breakfast burrito ever. The spicy breakfast wrap was perfect!!!

Really WANTED to like this place, friendly service, seemingly good menu and located in town Brookhaven. However, I ordered online where I couldn’t see prices of what I was ordering and what I received left a ton to be desired. We got oysters Rockefeller, shrimp fritters, mussels, and the chicken sausage. None of it was bad but nothing was overly impressive either. The oysters were overpowered by the arugula and fruit it was served with and the sausage portion was pathetic as well as came with four unlabeled, different colored sauces. It wasn’t good. The mussels were good but I feel like they are hard to mess up and they only came with 2 small pieces of bread… Umm cheap out much? Finally the shrimp fritters, the only thing worth mentioning were great, yummy and came with a good sauce. But the whole order TOTALINGALMOST55 $ WASNOTWORTHIT. I feel like they are charging a crazy amount for what should have been a 40 $ dinner. Will not revisit.

It was good but not great. I got the shrimp and grits but only the shrimp was good. The shrimp was very greasy. That was the bad thing about it.

Finally a coffee place in Brookhaven! Let us all rejoice. The Starbucks on peachtree is not suitable to meet clients. It is dirty and well serves that terrible Starbucks coffee… Cooper coin is clean, has a limited but excellent menu. They serve counter culture coffee which is far superior to anything else in the area. Very happy. I only wish they would serve the spicy egg dishes all day long.

This is all you need to know. A great pour over with Counter Culture beans. Haven’t been able to find anything like it in Brookhaven. Plus great service and delicious breakfast sandwiches. Plus wifi and outlets everywhere. Can’t beat it.

Location is great, Town Brookhaven needed a coffee sit-in place and they finally opened one! The staff is super nice and respectful. The environment is clean, nice and chill. The food is good BUT the coffee is alright. I’d have to say even Starbucks coffee is better than their coffee and that’s saying a lot since Starbucks coffee sucks too. The wine selection is okay but it’s definitely a nice place to sit with a friend or two, have a glass of wine and just chill. The staff just requires more work on their coffee making skills!

Yea! A great new place for coffee, craft beer, wine(plus some great food) in Town Brookhaven. Wide selection of espresso drinks, and it’s good espresso. The scone was good, the breakfast wrap was excellent. They have free wifi, and lots of places to plug in laptops. So an excellent place to go for a drink, a meal, or just to hang out.

The first thing that strikes me about Copper Coin is how much it reminds me of the neighborhood pubs in Amsterdam. You get food all day, great coffee, desserts, and then beer and wine. The place is still finding its legs, but I suspect they’ll be successful at this location which has really needed a good coffee shop. The tables are nicely configured and the ones along the edge have power and usb charging outlets. The food selections seem to be growing and it would be good if them to offer more vegetarian and vegan options.

Awesome coffee, I love Counter Culture, and the tapas plates in the evening are the bomb!

Reading the reviews, I was almost reluctant to try this place, but its great! Town Brookhaven needed a coffee shop and I’m excited that it has one. They have ample plugs so it’s a great working spot( Unilocal, you can stop asking me that for every place I go.) We tried a couple of their coffees. I got the lavendar mocha decaf and Justin got a Iced Caramel Biancha which is basically a caramel macchiato. We actually didn’t like these two drinks. I thought the lavendar was too subtle and the macchiato wasn’t sweet enough(which I normally am ok with). I still want to try some other drinks though. It has a great atmosphere and location and the barista is really nice. I’ll definitely try it again.

This location of Copper Coin seems like a place that has no clue what it wants to be. Is it a fun coffee bar to spend an afternoon at? Or is it a trendy restaurant? I think it tries to be both and fails at each. The coffee is good, but the atmosphere is not the least bit warm or inviting. You don’t feel welcome to linger like you do at most coffee places(like Chattahoochee coffee company, for example). So it fails as a coffee shop. What about the food? Decent, but not good enough and the selection too limited for it to stand as a restaurant on its own. So why give it anything over one star? Because I’ve been to their fantastic Woodstock location and know how much potential this place has. I really want this place to succeed, but I can’t imagine myself being a regular customer if they maintain its status quo. A few things they could change: the cloth napkin-wrapped silverware on each table could go. Trade some of the dinner tables for a couple sofas and more comfortable chairs. Have a few simpler menu items that your cooks can execute better.

So GOOD! I had a lavender mocha decaf latte and it was just delicious. Very cool laid back vibe. I noticed they had beer, wine and food on the menu. If I lived closer it would be a regular spot for me. Check them out

First time checking this place out and not disappointed. Came in to do some work and order breakfast. Highly recommend the spicy egg sandwhich. The breakfast menu is small, but does the job. Coffee is amazing! Tried the Caramel Biancha, strong resemblance to Starbucks Caramel Macchiato… but better! Recommend being headphones if you plan on studying or working as it can get noisy depending on the crowd. Wifi is very convenient and lots of outlets available along the wall and bar space.

Such a good spot! Went early in the morning for coffee and breakfast and the staff was incredibly friendly, the coffee was well-crafted, and the bacon, egg & cheese now ranks as my favorite breakfast sandwich in Atlanta. Highly suggest making this a regular coffee stop in your life.

I visit Town Brookhaven quite regularly and I always think to myself that it needed a great coffee shop. So I was excited when I saw the sign for Copper Coin this afternoon. The place feels more like a restaurant than a cozy place to grab some coffee, but they do serve breakfast and lunch(and I overhead that they will start serving small plates in the evening). I ordered a Chai(made from a local concentrate), and it was the spicy kind I like. I’ve never been to any of their other locations, but I have high hopes for this little gem in Town Brookhaven!
