THISIS A HIDDENGEM!!! I go to Deauville Antique at lunch to walk around like it’s a museum. French imports that will knock your socks off. The place is packed with divine options for any room in your house from armoires, tables, chairs, deluxe trinkets — you can spend a lot of money or there are plenty of reasonably priced items. I mean 16th century armoires aren’t going to be cheap. I got a gorgeous sofa that is 1920’s French and an 1900 cir. dresser that would probably have been a merchant’s bureau in Paris. I love the romance of this place. The stories of all the things and the lives of the people that once owned these gorgeous pieces. I haven’t mentioned the wonderful owners yet?! Marie-Anne is a delight. Her knowledge and kindness are inspiring, just in a moment of meeting her you will see. Go there now. It’s very easy to find. Plan an afternoon: 1. Go to Deauville Antique 2. Go to Nuevo Laredo for lunch. Deauville Antique is off Howell Mill at 75 /Pass the new Wal-mart /Turn RIGHT at Chattahoochee /Turn ;EFT at Ellsworth Industrial and it’s just up on the left in an little uphill driveway with some other shops == or you can get there from Huff Road on the other side. It’s worth it!!!
