Nice surprise! Fresh salad and ample servings! Low prices too. Friendly environment. Not so clean inside but not filth just messy in eating area. I’d go back for sure.

This is one of those takeout places most people wouldn’t give a second glance… so many new places to try here in town… stumbled onto this place entirely by accident. Deli Seafood is In the same building where I gassed up my rental car this AM, but my card didn’t work at the pump so I had to go in to pay… simply out of curiosity, looked into their window and saw that they had a 2 piece catfish dinner for $ 7.95… thought about that all day. I grew up in Oklahoma and they have restaurants that serve nothing but catfish all over the place. VERY hard to find catfish near Boston MA where I lived for 20 years… Atlanta is only a little easier.(See Boston Supreme Fish, oddly enough, in Tucker GA — thick fillets). Finally made it back to the hotel, but it was raining and I considered just blowing it off for a couple of days. Went downstairs and it was only dudes in the hotel bar/restaurant so I quickly decided all that was standing between me and my catfish was a little bit of water. The two ladies working here were nice, I am assuming maybe a Mother/Daughter… next time I go, will watch to see if Mom actually uses the Wok… whatever she did was pretty incredible. They have thin fillets(no bones)… cooked to perfection. I pass on the tarter sauce(it’s for that Yankee seafood), but you have got to try that plastic package of kick-butt Asian hot sauce! They have tables but this is primarily a takeout joint. Don’t even think about bringing your date in here… just show up at their place with this incredible plate of Mid-Western fried goodness! Funny how all of the best places to eat are so non-descript… «Deli Seafood»… «Chinese Food»…“Catfish”. I’m starting to think that is how to find the really good stuff!
