I have used Delta computer services several years ago, so I decided to try again with a Acer laptop that would not boot up. I had my own suspicions to the problem but I thought I could get some estimates from them and a «professional» diagnosis. I turned the laptop into Delta on a Saturday. I did not get a reply from Delta, so I phoned them on Wednesday. After being but on hold for awhile … I was told the motherboard was dead. I asked for a repair estimate but was told they could not find a replacement part right now and the technician was out. This computer is less than 3 years old so it seems odd they could not offer a final working estimate. Sort of ridiculous for a «Diagnostic Fee» of $ 55. I retrieved the machine from Delta and they acted like they could not find it but eventually located it … doubt that I will return … ever.
