They are definitely not open at 10 am. When you pull up, there is a sign that says they are open at noon, so we waited around. It looked like no one was in the building at noon and no one answered the phone… Just kind of frustrating!

It’s in the ‘hood, but an improving part of the ‘hood (across from the hospital).
I think the reason why they rate 3 stars instead of 2 is because of the neato factor of being a place that production companies go to in order to rent stuff. With that perspective in mind, you don’t look at the collection of items as «Who the hell would buy this worthless piece of shit» and think instead «Did I see that on that movie I saw recently?».
There are better places, but if you are looking for stuff from the late 60’s and 70’s (i.e., harvest gold and avocado are primo on your color wheel) then this may be the place for you.

If you need some unique furniture or antiques and live in the area this store has a great selection of awesome retro and vintage items. I snagged a couple old lockers from a gym that I am now using as bookshelves. (Yes, the combinations and locks work).
Prices are great compared to some other antique stores (of course there are some pricey items, but for the most part prices are great).

Look for the stand-​alone, completely graffiti’d building at Boulevard and Freedom Parkway — same intersection, but diagonal corner, from where the Martin Luther King Center is. This store is full of vintage, retro, wonderful greatness! I could have spent a lot more time there. Reasonable prices, except the rug I wanted was pricey. Other than that, so many great finds.
