Dollar Tree is the best thing since sliced bread. My sister, who lives in NY, and I compare our purchases and savings. I’ve never been to a Dollar Tree Store that I didn’t like. I always find great bargains and things of good value. I’m a senior, almost 70, and Dollar Tree is a real blessing. This store has the best customer service of any Dollar Tree I’ve ever been. From the greeting upon entering, to the thanks on the way out, they are all outstanding. There is one employee at this location who goes above and beyond to be helpful. Dimitrias(I hope I’ve spelled this correctly) knew where things were, knew if the store carried an item and knew the answers to question pertaining to items. I’m a Dollar Tree regular. I travel the entire Atlanta area. I live near this location. But I also regularly go to the store on the Lawrenceville Highway near the Walmart. I go to the store in Marietta next to the Park Avenue Thrift Store; as well as other locations. All great stores, but no one at any of these other locations has ever exibited the outstanding qualities that this young fellow has put forth. You’ve got a great employee, a wonderful store and an excellent chain.

There are lots of cute seasonal items here, like Halloween or Easter decorations. You can spend a lot of time and money here, despite the $ 1 per item. Good fun.

I really like Dollar Tree stores and this one is close to my home so I’ve always shopped here. I’m deducting points and simply writing this review because I saw a roach crawling in the candy section: on a bag of M&Ms. Since most of the food that is sold here is prepackaged, I don’t know whether to attribute the presence of this nasty insect to the restaurant next door or the pet daycare two or three doors down. Regardless, it was not a good sight and I haven’t purchased food from here or the neighboring restaurant since.

My view of this location is that they need to expand, big time. The shopping center is undergoing renovation and I wish this location of Dollar Tree would join in with the many others and have a frozen section. Having that would allow them to compete with the more expensive grocery store coming next door. Also, expanded space is needed because whenever I go there, nearly every time almost, I never see what I went in there for! It could be anything. I have to go to other Dollar Tree locations. And sometimes, like today, I wasn’t planning on seeing those things in there, but there they all were fully stocked and I wasn’t prepared to get them. Translation: they need more shelf space. Don’t expect to see a lot of the items from their website.

They have some really cheap goodies here(well obviously, they are the $ 1 tree after all). I bought a bunch of stationary from here last summer and it was all worth it. It’s a great place to find post-it notes, wrapping paper, note cards, occasion cards, party stuff, etc. Their customer service was great and check-out happens very quickly.

Just what you need, and it’s always $ 1. Always. Or else it’s banned from the store. I like Dollar Tree for some stuff, but not for others. Stuff I will buy from here: non-food items, non-health related items, gift bags and wrapping paper(paying $ 5.00 for paper that will soon be ripped off with wild abandon or bows that will be tossed without hesitation? No thanks), general cooking items like cake pans, spatulas, whisks or other stuff I need but don’t mind replacing to avoid spending $ 10 on a big spoon, decorative tins or boxes(again for gifts), and calendars(I believe I once bought a cheap calendar there for my office at work). Stuff I won’t buy from a dollar store, ever: food items(they creep me out, I don’t recognize the brands and I don’t trust the expiration dates), health items like toothpaste or medicine(I fully believe I should have to pay over $ 1 for good hygiene and pills — at least $ 1.50), soda(same story as food), and electronics(a pocket radio that costs that little can’t possibly NOT be a ticking time bomb ready to spontaneously combust when you’re least expecting it). This is how I feel about Dollar Tree. It has its place in society, it’s not exactly a high or noble place, but it’s a place nonetheless. And it can supply me with some things, not a lot, but some.

Dollar Tree — I wish this was like an orchard where I go to pick dollar bills off a tree but it’s just a store where I go to get things for the cheap. Everything is a dollar — well, except the greeting cards that you can get TWO for a dollar. This is the main reason I come here. I don’t understand paying $ 4 for a greeting card that someone will probably look at once and toss in the trash. You can find almost everything you need here. You can find some brand names in the cleaning supplies as well as off label brands. This is a good place to go for stuff for kids like coloring and activity books. I also recommend the Dollar Tree for seasonal items and gift wrapping — they have paper and bags and of course they’re only a buck! Overall the store is clean and the employees are friendly.

It’s a dollar store. What’s not to like? There’s a bunch of crap in there you’d never think cost just a dollar. It’s not one of those fake stores(see: Family Dollar) where everything is a dollar or MORE. Everything here is legitimately $ 1(plus tax). The staff here is friendly and the store is clean. Win. Note: Mastercard not accepted(but at least there’s no minimum for other credit cards)…
