If you say you are going to be closed for Christmas and re-open Jan 25, re-open Jan 25. Staying closed that long seems shady in the first place. Now I wonder if this is some front company.

It took me a good while to find this place. I drove around in circle numerous of time to find out it’s actually on broad st. which is near my work. I am very impressed with what I ordered! I absolutely LOVEEEEEE their lobster roll. It is probably the best I had in Atlanta. Their boba tea is great also! It’s not made of powder like every other bubble tea shop. It is also the best I had in Atlanta. Since it is down the street from my job, I would have to come here for lunch and try different things on their menu!

We stumbled across this place looking for a quick bite of Asian food, and it was the best place we could have found. It’s a fusion restaurant blending different Asian and southern tastes. We tried a little bit of everything; the seafood Gumbo is award winning, garlic green beans, egg rolls, all amazing and super flavorful. Alex was awesome. Seriously great food and amazing customer service.

I didn’t have a bad experience here, but it wasn’t anything to make me come back. The food was mediocre. I got the crispy honey chicken and switched out the rice for garlic noodles($ 2 up charge). I guess I am just used to lo mein-type noodles when I order them at an Asian restaurant, because these noodles were just spaghetti noodles with some garlic and butter on them. not worth $ 2 up charge. The chicken was as to be expected — honey sauce and crispy. Wasn’t the best sauce, but it came as described! I also ordered a Cheeseburger egg roll(1 for $ 2). While it was pricey, I definitely recommend trying one — you’ve never tasted anything like it! The dipping sauce adds flavor — so don’t be afraid! $ 2 fountain drinks so stick to water. My total came out to $ 14.45. Did I leave hungry? No, the portions are large! Did my wallet hurt? Yes, but my minimum wage helps the ache(not much, though). If I choose to come back, I would get the egg roll again. the steamed buns sound pretty good though.

For my first visit a few weeks ago, I ordered the kale salad and a pork steamed slider. I didn’t realize the salad was pre-made(date on the box was the day before) and only had 4 small shrimp. It was still surprisingly good/satisfying. The steamed pork slider was also pretty good. The bun was soft and fluffy. Today was my second visit to East Wave, and it was very disappointing. I ordered 3 beef steamed sliders and an egg roll. I bit into the egg roll and immediately spit it out. The meat didn’t look cooked through and not appetizing at all. In the beef sliders, it was actually shredded beef and not what the picture on the menu looks like, but maybe I made an incorrect assumption. The buns were chewy and hard though, and there was so much juice that it made the sliders very messy to eat. I’m not sure I’ll go back after that experience.

2nd review: went back a second time to get the cheese burger egg rolls… they were mushy and wet, didn’t really feel as if they cooked it for an appropriate time :(. They’re currently having a promotion which will allow you to get a free small bubble tea if you like their Instagram page or Facebook page I love bubble tea and i liked the fact that their tapioca pearls were cooked more, the milk tea choices could be better(I didn’t enjoy the Jasmine Tea) Cheeseburger Egg Rolls: I really enjoyed them and the sauce that comes with is great as well. I expected more cheese in them but overall they were great. Crispy Honey Chicken with Garlic Noodles(instead of the white rice that it comes with): The Chicken was sweet and crispy but the noodles were really overcooked to the point of being mushy. Next time i’ll just stick with the rice. The portion they gave was huge as well.

I just found this place while visiting Atlanta for the first time. I must say that for being an upcoming establishment, it does not disappoint. I had a business meeting to go to, and did not have too much time to grab a bite to eat. After seating myself, the service was fast and friendly. The food, especially the lemon pepper wings, were spectacular! The short ribs were also memorable, so juicy and full of flavor, and the portions were just the right size. The staff was very helpful in explaining the menu items, and service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for fast, friendly service that delivers delicious food. I will definitely be coming back on future business ventures! Great job everyone!

Came here twice while I was in Atlanta for a conference and both meals were excellent. I was hungry and in a rush. East Wave Fusion was couple blocks from the event center. I walked in and noticed the beautiful painting on the wall. Service was quick and friendly. The meal was good. I ordered the Lobster roll and the Blackened Tuna Roll. The lobster roll was on point! Both were very fresh. The Ambiance is fantastic and modern. The décor inside of the restaurant is really nice with perfect lighting. My next experience there was exactly the same. Had to come back and get the lobster roll!

Came to Atlanta for a week and stumbled upon this place… Gotta say, I’m impressed! Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. My friend and I had awesome experience here. Service was excellent, clean area, and vibrant environment. We wanted to order everything, but settled on: Tofu taco Street corn Salmon roll Crispy honey with garlic noodles — banging! East wave chicken wings — can I have more, please??? You can be sure that I visit again when I’m back in Atlanta!

This was a pleasant surprise. Very clean, modern place. I got a Kale Salad to go. It was very good with the house made sesame seed dressing. The corn, tomato and onion were somewhat skimpy. There were 5 shrimp on there that had a seasoning on them. The menu mentions Louisiana spice blackened shrimp. I wouldn’t call it that. The flavor was good, but not blackened. Overall I enjoyed it and will go back to try some other things out. They have an interesting menu!

Making«Waves» on Broad Street! There’s a new kid(restaurant) in town, known for its deep rooted cultural, fast, casual cuisine. Welcome to the«hood» East Wave Fusion” food freshly made every day with the freshest ingredients. On my visit, I had the Kale Salad, chopped kale, tossed in housemade black sesame dressings, layered with fresh corn, onions, tomatoes, parmesan cheese and topped with Louisiana spiced blackened shrimp. Very tasty, delectably divine. LOL To quench my thirst, flavorful jasmine green bubble tea made with lactaid milk, for those of us who are lactose intolerant. Hmmmm, next time I visit, I’ll do dessert, how does«green tea cheesecake» sound? The restaurant offers an array of items such as, sushi, soup, salads, seafood gumbo, salmon, ribs, chicken items, fried rice, egg rolls, tacos, wings, even lobster rolls, so much more! Wow! So if you are downtown«holla» at me, let’s do lunch, you won’t be disappointed!

Chicken tacos were awesome! Love the mango salsa and make sure to get some of the chipotle hot sauce, that’s made in house, for a little extra kick! Also had a boba tea which was the best I’ve had in the city for sure! All for under 10 bucks too! Can’t wait to go back and try some other menu items.

Yasssss finally it’s open!!! This restaurant definitely stands out from the rest on block. It’s nice and clean inside and lots of vibrant colors that just pop! I came during their grand opening and it was a little hectic, but what do you expect? They’ll probably get in to a better flow of things in a few days. This is what I ordered: Lobster roll– really good flavors. The sauce doesn’t over power the lobster so you still taste that juicy lobster flavor. Cheeseburger egg roll– taste just like eating a real hearty cheese burger. Earl grey milk tea — sooo good! I can definitely tell this was not powdered base tea. Definitely will be coming back here, to try the rest of the menu! :P
