This is our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Everything we’ve ordered has been absolutely fantastic. The chicken schnitzel is delicious. It’s a big, butterflied, fried chicken breast on top of crème fraise mashed potatoes and topped with more crème fraise, capers and lemon slices. Truly delicious. The guiness stout lamb stew is also hearty and wonderful. And they make a hand rolled cookie dough cannoli that will blow you away. I tell all my friends that if you love someone, you should take them here for dinner!

The food in this place was really really tasty. We got groupon deal so for only 20 bucks we got an entrée, dessert, and appetizers. I got the herb grilled salmon with lemon mushroom risotto for my entrée. Perfect combination. So tasty! For appetizers, lobster mango ceviche and sun dried bruschetta are both to die for. You have to ask for desserts as they are not on the menu and their tiramisu was freshly made and even better than what i make at home. The food is delicious, if you are willing to wait long hours then go here. Unfortunately we wanted to go somewhere right after dinner and because the service so slow, we had to cancel our plans afterwards. So if you are not in a rush, this place is perfect.

We took our friends to dinner here and we had a wonderful evening. We had calamari and lobster ceviche to start and they were amazing, fresh and delicious. We ordered lamb stew, chicken schnitzel, Cajun shrimp pasta and linguine pescatore. We all agreed that these were some of the very best dishes we have had. I had the linguine and it was absolutely delicious. We ordered deserts and had a chocolate lava cake and a lemon cake. The chocolate cake was decadent and divine. The lemon cake was light and so wonderful that it was hard for us to decide which was our favorite. Our server was a delight, he was so helpful in choosing everything from cocktails to appetizers, entrees and desert. We will be back, wonderful experience.

Went here for Midtown Restaurant week and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing bad to say! Service was great. We sat outside and enjoyed cocktails and the ravioli. Definitely want to try other things on the menu. A little hard to find, but right near the botanical gardens entrance to Piedmont Park. Would recommend making reservations if it’s past 7 on a Friday or Saturday night when you plan to go.

Wow! Talk about not judging a book by its cover… although the exterior on Piedmont is dominated by a florist and dry cleaner this place is well worth the commitment to try it. Not not is the interior very stylish, the food is phenomenal and the staff very attentive. We tried the Cajun shrimp pasta, butternut squash ravioli and the pork tenderloin as mains. All were fantastic and I can say the pork tenderloin was outstanding! The calamari and bruschetta appetizers were also very good as well as the mixed drinks– try the pineapple mojito– you won’t regret it! Definitely a must return location!(Gotta try the patio next time)

We went to Eclectic to celebrate our wedding anniversary and the food and service did not disappoint us! We got there just as the restaurant was opening and were seated on their covered patio quickly. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel and my hubs has the seafood stew. Both were delicious and filling. They don’t have a soda fountain so no refills on drinks but that’s a minor detail. Our server, Brennan, was knowledgeable, courteous and a pleasure. He gave great recommendations and provided excellent service. We had a Groupon but didn’t realize it could only be used Mon-Thurs; even though we live far, far away, we will definitely be back to use the Groupon. The food and service is worth the drive.

First visit and this place was awesome!!! I had a cucumber cocktail that was delicious and my date really loved his Rusty Peach. I had the carbonara(with tomatoes, mushrooms, peas, and big chunks of pancetta) and it was the best I have had in ages. My date had the burger and the truffle fries and loved both of them. They had a cookie dough cannoli that I really wanted to try, but didn’t really have the room. Next time I will so try the lobster ceviche, looked awesome. It was quiet for a Thursday night, but a nice atmosphere with great art on the wall and a back porch that I would have checked out had it been just a little cooler. Our waiter, Stuart was really helpful with suggestions and personable. Will definitely be back again! Oh one note, parking can be tough. I ended up parking across the street on Avery in the Ansley Park neighborhood which may or may not be legal, but my car was still there at the end of the night!

My brother and I dined here for Midtown Restaurant week for Sunday brunch. The special was 3 courses for $ 25. We had a 130pm reservation and the dining room was totally empty. Service was prompt and courteous . We had calamari, salad, salmon eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, cookie dough cannoli and tres leches cake. It was way too much food and portion sizes were generous. Next time we will split an appetizer and each order an entrée. Food– calamari was excellent. Salad was very good. Salmon eggs Benedict was very good. Chicken and waffles excellent. Cannoli was just ok. It was in a wonton wrapper rather than a true cannoli shell and was a little tough. The tres leches was very good. Ambiance was nice with decent music piped in the room and nice artwork. We had excellent service. Overall we liked this place. The only negative thing is parking. Parking is very difficult and you must choose carefully if parking across the street that you are not in a resident only permit zone.

One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Executive Chef Justin Caldarella’s menu is(as the the restaurant’s namesake) «eclectic!» Flavorful dishes, funky yet sophisticated atmosphere, and excellent service. Love it

We’ve been here several times on date nights when we lived in Midtown and I knew they had a lovely covered back patio. This occasion was a going-away party for some dear friends of ours, and I needed a place that could deal with a party of 20. I spoke with Laura, whom I’m assuming is the GM, and she stayed in contact with me constantly for the 3 or so weeks prior to the party. We chose a limited menu of hors d’oeuvres and everyone ordered their own drinks. The back patio was exclusively ours, and it was decorated beautifully with lights strung above the table and lanterns lit on the railing. The atmosphere was perfect, and everyone loved the food and service. I’d highly recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. They treated us extremely well.

I cam for with a Scoutmob and I will return for more! I’ve passed this little gem many time and never thought to come in until now. Their classic Martini’s are $ 5 every day! They also offer a great list of craft beers. I got the Mussels and they were great. I want to come back and try their sandwiches next. I also tried one of their salads and it was decent(it was salad, you know). I am told they will start offering brunch soon and bottomless Mimosas too. That is also worth coming back to try.

We came in earlier this week — party of six. Food was excellent. Several of us had the chicken schnitzel, the others opted for flank steak. Everything was very tasty and the tres leches cake got a thumbs up for dessert. Unfortunately, the service was sketchy. It took 25 minutes for initial drinks and bread for the table. And when the bill came, the tip was included in the total — yet nothing was itemized so we had no idea. No problem to include a tip for a party of six — just let the customer know that’s the policy. Usually it’s marked on the receipt. If the service had been better, I’d have given it five stars because the food was really good.

So I brought my family here while visiting the parents. We got a groupon so we dined on a Thursday evening and made the reservation the night before. Location 8 — easy to find via Google maps Exterior 6 — looks a little average yet kind of a local secret Interior 10 — very clean, low lighting, artsy stuff on the walls Service 9 — no complaints whatsoever Side note we took our sleeping five month old twins and had no issues, the place is small so it’d probably be an issue on a busy night.

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner last weekend before heading off to the High and were blown away by a fantastic meal. We were lured in by its close proximity to us and the current Scoutmob deal. Eclectic Bistro is nestled on the side of Piedmont Road between the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and Monroe Dr. The restaurant is perched right on Piedmont; if you weren’t looking for it you might not notice it was there. There are a couple of parking spots in front of the restaurant and a private lot in the back. Inside, the restaurant is split up into a trendy bar area with high top tables and a more intimate dining area with low light and carefully placed art. Now on to the food. Let me start by saying that all their classic martinis are $ 5…every day. How have I not come here sooner?! For food, we shared the Arugula Salad to start and for entrees had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and the Crispy Chicken Schnitzel. Everything was supurb. The three-cheese crème fraîche potatoes that came with the chicken were some of the best potatoes I’ve ever had. On top of the great food, our server was excellent. When we first sat down I had asked him about one of the appetizers and whether it was spicy. He told me it was and I mentioned that I had a very low tolerance for spicy food. When I ordered the Cajun Shrimp Pasta(I realize not the best choice for someone who can’t handle spice) he asked the chef to make it less spicy than normal, even without me asking for it. He was attentive the whole evening and patient with our menu questions. All in all a wonderful restaurant, I’m excited to come back and try the other menu items!

Every aspect of the evening was great. We arrived around 730pm on a Monday and was promptly seated. There were several couples in the dining room, but about half of the restaurant was empty. The atmosphere was nice with the lights slightly dimmed, and there are several interesting paintings for décor. Our server was on point all evening. He was so sweet and made wonderful suggestions, and catered to all of our needs. Now about the food. I had the balsamic marinated flank steak with sautéed spinach and red pepper mash potatoes and it was perfect. My steak was a beautiful medium rare and the side dishes complemented it wonderfully. My best friend had the seafood pescatore and the sauce was so yummy along with the well prepared seafood. It was also half off wine night, so we ordered a bottle of moscato. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will be back :)
