Eleventh Street pub is definitely my favorite Midtown watering hole. The bar is industry friendly, open late, full of regulars, and allows smoking — including vaping. Make no mistake about it, this is a dive bar, and thus full of character, and characters. As one of the few pubs that’s open late on a Sunday night, I usually come here after a busy week and always find somebody interesting to chat with. The menu is your standard American bar/grill fare, but it’s still quite delicious, especially the tater tots. I can’t recommend it enough for anybody looking for a fun place to hang out late at night.

Solid, local bar for Midtowners to drop by and one I could see people easily becoming a regular at. The place itself isn’t very large, but that gives it a cozy feeling. Plenty of TVs to watch games at and a low-key, hassle-free vibe to it. Why not?

This is a great local pub. It’s open late and the food is better than the small space would have you expect. I come here frequently and recommend the pimento cheeseburger.

Horrible service, I actually witnessed my old waitress taking a shot at the bar. Expect slow crappy service. I went for the drinks and wings. The pineapple mixed cocktail i had tasted like it literally had no alcohol in it. The wings are basic fried chicken sprinkled with seasonings(cajun/jerk) you would find at your local grocery store. WASTED $ 45… SAVEIT&GOTOAMERICANDELI.

Waitress with short black hair was extremely rude. Should be let go. I was not drunk bit she had an attitude and unfriendly demeanor not what I look for in a bartender or server will not return.

Industry bar or not, Eleventh Street Pub needs to get it together. On a busy Sunday night there should be more than one person working. On a recent visit there was not a seat in the house & only one person was working the entire restaurant. After waiting a few minutes, we just walked out. Lovely crowd, fun atmosphere & terrible service. Take your business elsewhere to a place that actually wants it.

Do yourself a favor and walk across the street to Steamhouse Lounge for a beer. There’s really no redeeming qualities about this place. They’ve been understaffed both times that I’ve been and didn’t have a large crowd either time. They seemed very overwhelmed and unfriendly. Service was very slow and we were told the second time to not even order food by the bartender as it would take forever. There’s a lot of good options in the area. This is not one of them and I can say that with confidence after two attempts.

Best place in town for a Bears game! This is my go to spot to take my Chicagoan boyfriend when he visits on a game day. Good bar food, great drink deals, great atmosphere, great service!

Don’t spend your money here. Waitress(both of them think they fell down from the heavens) have an attitude that is just down right crude and nasty. It’s like they lack any sort of common sense. Mixes are old, product is stale and or not in stock or available. Very inconsistent service. Broken bar stools and an owner who is just cheap to have the problems fixed. Not comfortable at all. Not a place worth going to. Stay away!

Being from L.A., the smoke in this small place was just penetrating. Late night, for a really pretty dang good burger and a beer, this place did the job. Not a real high end cocktail place, definitely beers and shots. Overall, I liked it.

The chicken rolls are pretty good but overall I don’t like this place too much. It might be good for a beer after work and bar food but other than that I wouldn’t go there.

Great neighborhood pub! Friendly staff, good«bar food», mixed crowd. I probably would have given it 5 stars for the coolness factor, but I don’t smoke. Stop in before a Braves game for a whippit!

I was there yesterday, great food good service, beer selection was OK, but we selected about 5 that they Did Not have. Therefore if you are expecting«good beer selection» this might not be the place.

It was good when it was Charlie G’s. They’ve changed a lot of the food and not for the better.

Whenever I arrive in the ATL, and I just want to get a carryout, I come to the Eleventh Street Pub(formerly Charlie G’s). It’s right in the back of the Residence Inn Midtown Hotel at the intersection of West Peachtree Street and 11th Street The food is okay. The carryout menu provides a variety of options to choose from. I keep it handy whenever I decide to head south that way, Customer business seems to do well. It’s one area where you if you dine in, you can probably catch a game on tv. But, if you don’t care for smoking, then it will not be the place to eat in.

The food is terrible, the place is hot as balls and smokey, and our server with the snowflake tattoo is a biatch.

Simple Dive bar in midtown — mostly yuppie-free for a Midtown bar. Didn’t try the food. Glad to see Charlie G’s lives — even if the name is changed.

One of my Unilocal comrades describes this place as a «stinky, smoky shithole». Who am I to argue? One thing you won’t find here is whiners, and that’s refreshing. Eleventh Street is frequented by the locals in the area. The hotel next door was closed for renovations during my stay in ATL so I didn’t see any other tourists here. The bar gets five stars and the food gets three. If you find yourself eating and reviewing tater tots often, you will be fine with the food here. I usually came for the drinks and company and was very pleased with both. One tip, unless you really like the Bears, don’t come here when they are playing. If you are a Bears fan, make it a point to come when they are playing.
