I never knew this place existed until I got a post card in the mail! It had some awesome coupons in there! I forgot which one I used but I know it took off $ 5 from my bill! My fiancé ordered 3 hot dogs. and yes he ate them all in one sitting for lunch. He got the Damn Bleu Dog, Georgia Dawg and Gwinnett Dog. He said the best one was the Gwinnett dog. It had his two favorite toppings on there: Chili and coleslaw. I ordered the large greek salad and it was indeed large. It filled up the entire to go box! I ordered an extra container of dressing and I’m glad I did. There’s just so much content and I like my salad drenched in dressing. I will be back to try more stuff of course. There’s just so much stuff in their menu. Their workers are also super nice and there are coupons inside of their to-go menus. I have no complaints here!

Stumbled across this place after getting some Gyro’s at the place next door. Was meeting a friend and decided we might grab a beer since they had a sign in the window. Then I saw the 50+ draft beers written on chalk boards. Whoa! Their is a bar in the back. The waitress was nice and after I told her the beer styles I liked she recommended something and brought me a sample which I liked. So me and the friend came back another time a week or two later for pizza and the Falcon’s game. Pizza was great too.

I went there on a Friday night with a buddy. We were looking for some good wings. We surely found them! We had the bronco sauces on the wings. The wings were not overly sauced, which was perfect! Service was very friendly. This place is definitely family friendly. Would bring my 3 year old daughter anytime.

Came on a Friday lunch, and was not many people there, but the four of us from work was greeted quickly and sat down where we wanted. We were told about the All You can Eat Pizza and Wings deal. All four of us opted for that, and we order a beer from their extensive Craft beer selection, they have 54 taps total. This place also fills Growlers… you can even bring your own Growler and they will fill that. Our food came and we got a Giant 20″ pizza that was customized in four sections according to each of our topping preferences. And then given a customized 6 wing order for each of us… They have so many different flavors too. I got the Buffalo HOT extra wet, and it was very spicy, glad I didn’t get the Xtra Hot like I usually do. The wings came out crispy and temperature hot for all of us. We ate our pizza and wings and afterwards asked for our next order, none of us ordered, we were all full. Afterwards, since it was a Friday two if us at the Table ordered two Growlers and were given complimentary Beer flights just for checking in with Unilocal! Great meal and great value and great service, thus the 5 stars!

Thought I’d stop in and give this place a try. Was disappointed that it is filthy inside. While I waited for my food I must have heard the people who work here(blonde woman and younger guy) say fuck at least 10 times as they talked bad about people they knew. I’m glad I didn’t have my kids with me. I haven’t even tried the food yet, but the lack of cleanliness of the restaurant and rudeness of the staff has guaranteed I won’t come back.

It’s so sad this restaurant has such great food and such poor service. We LOVE the food. The wait staff(which is generally one poor soul) is very friendly but has to apparently do everything. pretty sure they do everything but twirl the crusts! Someone needs to help them with HR and get some wait staff before they lose their customer base. We want them to stay in Dunwoody! We came in at 7:15 and got our pizza at 8:25. Not good when you have kids. Please hire some help!

Nom nom nom! I love NYSTYLEPIZZA! And Empire State Pizza and Growlers does not disappoint. Thin crust! Great complex toppings and combos. Oh did I mention they have over 50 beers on tap! And two wines! This place is a great hole in the wall! They don’t do delivery! But it’s worth the visit! If you call in and do take out make sure you order from the Dunwoody location and not Lawrenceville! PS: The bar is in the back!

Worst lunch buffet I have ever been too. Pizza was terrible soggy mess, pasta was at least two days old. Some pieces were hard. Some where soft. Bread was sitting in a puddle of garlic butter. Would not advise eating lunch here. You have been warned!!!

This is a pleasant place tucked into a small strip mall at the intersection on Peeler Road and Winter Chapels road. Excellent selection of beer on tap. The pizza is fresh and tasty. The growler is Plus.

What a pleasant surprise. We Googled and found them and didn’t see many reviews on Google but we took a chance. And I’m so glad we went in and ate dinner at Empire State pizza. The pizza is the best I’ve had in a very long time and I’ve had a lot of pizza in my 57 years. We had moved my daughter all day we were tired and hungry. The pizza hit the spot. If you love pizza then you have to check them out

The food was great — loved the calzone and Stromboli! The very bad was the service. It seemed our waitress and the bartender got into a fight that night. 3 of us ordered beers and they never, ever came. At first the apologies were understandable, seeing as how we were a big group plus the bar in the back was slammed. But then our waitress mentioned the bartender was ignoring her and wouldn’t fulfill the drink ticket. I walked back there and saw the stack of tickets the bartender ignored, but then saw another server go by with beers for another table. After 45 minutes and no beer(note: got my food no problem; just no beer to go with it), I finally told our waitress to cancel the beers. I expected an apologetic«I’m so sorry» or even something comped off our bill for the ridiculous unfulfilled wait, but we barely got a shrug. I was so frustrated, I just paid the bill and left. I understand people get into disagreements at work, but such should never be taken out on the customer. Moreover, hiccups can easily be forgiven when a place is extremely busy(especially when you’re part of a large group making it crazy), so long as service continues to excel with a positive attitude. Although the pizza was awesome, there is no point for me to patron Empire ever again. I’d recommend several other area pizza joints first where you will be treated like family and can actually have a beer with your pizza.

Fellow employees who live in the area wanted us to go. I had only had takeout that they had brought back to office for me(great calzone). This time it was the new lunch buffet. I felt compelled to try a bit of everything since i had not been before. I was not disappointed. They were just loading the buffet when we got there. Everything fresh was excellent. Started with garlic knots and wings, then a water dog, then the pizza and topped off with stromboli and more wings. Got my $ worth for sure. Wings were fried crispy and sauces were nice(medium buffalo and honey bbq), hot dog was decent(could have had toppings bar), pizza was excellent(crispy crust, nice cheese), stromboli was excellent(sausage was tasty not over seasoned). Hopefully the lunch buffet last for a while, we will definitely be back.

Pizza is a finicky thing. Everybody likes it a different way, so reviewing pizza places is like discussing politics… you’ll never get a group of people to agree. In light of this, I will say that Empire State Pizza is the king of soft, doughy(I’d say«soggy») pizza. This is the kind of pizza that you have to eat with fork and knife unless you prefer to wear more than you get in your mouth. I like a thick crust, and so Empire would not be my first choice. That being said, their topping combos were fun and delicious(very fresh tasting) and their salads are rockin’! They have trivia on Tuesdays, I think, but unless there is some event, I don’t recommend dining in– the environment is dingy. Order a giant pie to go!

One of my faves! I am familiar with their original location in Snellville, and was spurt excited when they opened this location(as I now live in this area). If I remember correctly, they have some killer specials: wing night, slice night, calzone night, etc. The food has always been killer. My go-tos are either the Buffalo Chicken Calzone or the Bronco Gold wings. Seriously, so good. I’ve seen reviews complaining about bad service. In my experience, this has not been a problem. I have both dined in and taken out. When I dine in, I enjoy company, hang out, enjoy the environment, etc. When we take out, the food is always hot and fresh. Hang in there, Empire! I will be back :)

Everything made from scratch. Friendly and chilled. Enough beer on tap to keep you buzzed and interested for weeks. The best pizza joint in the hood! A must see and taste!!! Thanks for the great food and beer. Incredible!

We found this place due to Scoutmob and we are so happy they brought us here! The pizza slices are huge! They offer a ton of choices of toppings, but these aren’t your normal toppings. These are fresh cut vegetables with no skimping and fresh shaved meats. Completely amazing and delicious! Not to mention, the reason we decided to come here… their beer selection. Over 30 beers on tap!

My wife and I live in Dunwoody and we decided to give this place a shot. I also noted it was part of the Skymiles dining program, so that was a plus too. We are craft beer lovers and were excited to check it out. OUr experience was«meh». The pizza and wings were actually pretty good. However the server was very inattentive and seemed like she didn’t care. The beer list itself was quite large, but the copy we got had beers mis named and the wrong logos né\xt to beers, it was very hodgepodge and confusing. The server was unable to clarify anything about the beer and seemed bothered when we asked her questions. My biggest issue with this place is thatI posted a review on Skymiles Dining basically recounthing this experience and noting that I hoped that they could address these things as we really wanted to try the place again. Here is their response: «Thanks for the feedback. I am sorry we didn’t meet your expectations. Your „Beer list“ comment was ridiculous! That, if anything has been pristine! Misplaced Logos, you would have a huge battle to prove that one. Server knowledge is an issue, we are always working on that. You shouldn’t do scoutmob and value rewards, that ain’t cool.» So not only are they calling me a liar, but they are also criticizing me for using skymiles dining, a program that they chose to participate in. I am done with this place.
