FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

I needed to ship an iPad, and after checking online, Fedex was a little cheaper than UPS. I went to this location with the iPad still in the packaging and box that it arrived in when Fedex delivered it to me a few days earlier. I only opened the box to remove the packing slip. The woman working there started packing it in a larger box, to which I told her it was fine as-​is. She kept packing while I filled out the slip. Comes time to ship, and she didn’t give me any shipping options… just 2^nd day air (I checked online afterwards, and ground would have gotten it there on the same day for half the cost.) Note that all her extra packaging DOUBLED the weight of the shipment, on top of which she charged me for the packaging. She said, «I waived the handling fee.» How generous. I should have made a scene, given her back her box and her packaging, and told her to ship it the way I said to, but I know that’s an argument I can’t win since she’d flag it «insufficient packaging» and I’d have no protection at all if something happens in transit. I’m sure she made her upsell quota for the day, and I really hope it was worth it. Not only won’t I be back to this location — I’ll stick with shipping UPS.

worst place on earth. This is what I envision purgatory to be like… right before I get sent straight to hell.

— printing 10 pages in color at the self-​service station which took 20mins to read my file = $ 15.00
— printing 10 pages in color at the compueters which took 10mins to open my file = $ 35.00 plus the cost of using the computer.
What? you CAN’T print power point slides as handouts? Well, just use our computers and convert it to a PDF? oh great. I spent $ 5 on the computers starring at the «loading» bar while trying to convert my powerpoint to a pdf. When I asked for help, they didn’t notice what the F* I was doing and how to fix it. They refused to print it for me (even tho it takes 2 seconds) because it would take «up to 3 hours because we have a queue with other projects».
My friend printed 100 pages total in color for $ 80. 80 FREAKING DOLLARS. All because the self-​service station did not want to read his USB, and he was forced to print from the computers.
Why the hell do the computer printers charge you twice the cost of the self service station (guess what kinkos, the computers are self service too), I have no freaking clue.
As a side-​note to my purgatory hell, after I spent $ 20 and said «f* this, im going to print my report in black and white at school», I decided to just staple it up and go.
THE STAPLER HAD NO STAPLES. Its like going to a restaurant and them telling you that they have no food. the hole puncher was broken.
I didn’t know if I should cry or go carrie on their asses and burn this place down. Its bad enough its 7am and I’ve been working all night, I didn’t need the extra misery.
Kinkos, you are the worst place on earth. It would be cheaper for me to buy a new color printer with the built-​in cartrige than to visit your excuse for a store.
