Bruh!!!
First thing y’all need to know is that this place in DEEP in the hood!
Not deterred? Oh, well then keep reading lol.
This is like a little hole in the wall with a window where you order. The parking is horrible and the neighborhood dirty.
But I’m dead-​ass serious when I tell you this is some of the best fried shrimp you’ll find! Seriously, it’s definitely worth a daytime trip down Donald Lee Hollowell (fka Bankhead) to grab of these well-​priced plates. The lemonade was almost sickeningly sweet, but if you don’t mind having an extra cup and watering it down a bit, you actually come out ahead with a bootleg 2 for 1 situation lol.
Just a couple tips: 1) You’re probably better off paying in cash and 2) Don’t be afraid to chat up the folks that run the place!
I’ll definitely be back when I have a craving for some fried shrimp or a fish plate!
