I have no idea why I keep going here because every time I leave early and feel I’ve wasted my time. There are 3 floors to the place but still it gets so crowded you can’t move. College nights means everyone and their mom is around and the line is out the door. If you’re 21, I recommend going to the«21 only» downstairs because it has a lot less riff raff. It can definitely be fun especially if you dance but it’s a little crazy. Don’t attempt to drive and if you want to bar hop the only other locations are really Opera and Meehans Irish Pub. Arrive before 9:30 to avoid cover.

Horrible Staff One of the guy was just pushing us to move, saying if we don’t move he’ll throw us out of the club. It could have been done in a better polite way, but the guy just kept pushing the crowd and was very rude.

This was a nice little bar. The second floor was live! The slushies were good but I kept getting brain freezes. The crowd was really mixed from college kids to middle age adults who enjoy trap music. The DJ could use a class in mixing but we had fun!

After a big party I hosted for my grad school program, we all planned to reconvene at flip flop once the bar closed down. We were hoping to continue the festivities and conversation somewhere fun – sadly not the case at the particular establishment. The bouncer was incredibly rude and condescending – it seemed that she took particular pleasure in turning away members of our party, which was totally unnecessary. If you like being talked down to and overcharged for cover, this is the place for you. Otherwise, spend your time and money literally anywhere else.

Came here with my whole class(about 20 of us) and we had a blast. The bartenders are great. The atmosphere just screams GOODTIMES. The drinks could be a little stronger but we were having such a good time that we didn’t mind. Good music and we had a blast dancing.

I remember this bar attempted opening in Clemson, SC but it was a bad location and didn’t make it. Skip forward a few years and now I live in Atlanta! My girlfriends and I went here for our ladies night on a Saturday. There were at least 4 bachelorette parties in attendance so the guy-girl ratio was pretty fair. We got there at 9:30pm and didn’t have to pay the $ 5 cover. This place isn’t huge, but that gives it a good vibe of feeling packed/busy. The dress code is pretty casual. Summer dresses and frat clothes mostly. I had the«Georgia Peach» drink which was absolutely delicious and the«Piña Colada» which was not as great. I tasted my friend’s «Bombshell»(the greenish one) and it was very tart; probably would not have been able to drink a whole one. All the frozen drinks are $ 8. We spent most of our night upstairs where the DJ was. The DJ on this particular night wasn’t the greatest but we made do. The VIP section is a little creepy in that it’s on a slightly raised platform by the DJ and honestly it was all dudes when we first started dancing… And they were looking reaaaal thirsty. People also tend to throw a handful of napkins in the air anytime a good beat comes on. This just ended making the dance floor look like it was covered in toilet paper and it was sticking to everyone’s shoes. It felt a little like a high school dance with girls dancing in circles and guys lurking by the fruit punch. The drinks are actually pretty good, so I would suggest you go, at least once, for the experience. Just don’t expect this place to be the Opera or anything.

Great experience until the hostess forgot to give me My ID back at the end of the night and when I tried to retrieve it the following evening the Bouncer tried to extort money out of me to get it back and implied that I didn’t pay the cover when in fact I paid a cover for five people and spent God knows how much money in the bar upstairs. I refused to pay him and he laughed telling me to enjoy my trip the the DMV. Will be contacting the authorities.

Get there around 10:30 — 11:00 on a Saturday. Downstairs and up stairs with 2 different Dj’s. Slushie drinks are good. Music is great pop, hip/hop, rap, reggae, &90’s! Nice place. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because they advertise pizza but when u get there they say that they don’t have food anymore.

I tried a variety of their drinks. My favorite was the«One night stand» which was passion fruit flavor. It’s a very distinct taste so definitely sample it before you get a full drink. The bartenders were very good at allowing me and my friends to sample the drinks.

Came here for a friends birthday earlier this month. Don’t remember much because it was a crazy night. From what I can remember, there were two floors(upstairs and downstairs), drinks were pouring(they must’ve been good because I was feeling good), and there were lots of college kids. $ 10-$ 20 for entrance(males) don’t remember about females. Overall I had a good time here with good friends. I would return here again when I’m more sober to check it out again. Give it a try.

The doorman told us they closed in about 30min, but they were still charging full cover. Their music sounded great, but as girls who are used to not paying cover in the first place, we decided to go elsewhere. I’m really glad we did. There was another place down the street that had better music & no cover. Plus, we were in a bar/club hopping mood anyway. I might go back since I’ve heard quite a bit about this place, but if so, I’ll probably make it a point to go early and stay there.

I think all Atlantans have a a history with Flip Flops. Mine involves many a throw downs with their infamous«Jet Fuel.» I can report that my victory with the delightful New Orleans-esque drink was victorious for the evening. Flip Flops is famous in midtown for being the place you go if you are young, fresh out of college, and looking for that experience. And I must say, it is as consistent as McDonald’s and definitely a fun time. Definitely a must visit for out of towners in for an SEC game, or locals looking to relive some memories and have one of those evenings. The Dance floor is always grooving.

Swung by here while exploring Midtown on a Saturday night. Fake Patron, cool environment, ridiculous cover that’s constantly changing. 1. The«bartenders» filled Patron with Jose Cuervo at BEST. Even after exploring other bars Patron that goes down smoothly most times taste like nail polish remover. This is the place you go to get wasted on the cheap stuff and slushies. 2. The environment is a lot more laid back then some of the other spots in Midtown. They make pizza inside that’s decent and there’s a dance floor upstairs that might peak your interest. Bathrooms were a war zone as one might expect. Almost forgot, they sell mixed drink slushies. They were good and definitely makes for a unique flair in the area. 3. The cover is completely dependent on who you’re with it appears. Some girls get in free while others don’t. Some guys it’s $ 5 while others it’s $ 10 or even $ 15. I’m not going to speculate on how they determine that, but it’s a peculiar system they have. Overall, this is a cool spot to hang out and enjoy dancing and the wonderful weather. The slushies make for a fun twist to the usual bar scene. However, faking the Patron really irked me and tells you a lot about the establishment.

Worst place in ATLANTA!!! They threw my husband and I out like we were criminals! My husband is disabled, He has MS(Multiple Sclerosis) he sometimes needs to sit to regain strength in is legs to prevent falling. The girl outside the front door checking ID’s next to the patio decided she didn’t want him sitting next to her and said he needed to move. I explained he had MS he needed to sit for a min, we were waiting on some friends to come out and we were leaving. She says«I don’t care what he has you need to MOVE»!!! I repeated myself to her, then she calls an officer over Mr. Patterson He just starts shoving me from behind, Telling me «you need to leave». I said sir, we aren’t trying to cause any problems and said the same as I did to the, NOT so nice girl. needless to say the shoved my husband out as well. We then called 911 to file a complaint, mind you my husband was NOT intoxicated. The officer and girl claim it was a miscommunication, that they thought we were«JUSTDRUNK»

Good atmosphere but really bad music. Ladys come in for free but men have to pay 10 $. The music was really bad. Nothing special. The staff is friendly. The only problem is that the music was really bad.

$ 10 cover which ain’t sh** in ATL, and you can dress as casual as the day you were born. Mix of 80s rock downstairs & top40 upstairs. They serve specialty frosted drinks so have fun w/that ladies. Large outdoor patio for smoking and getting away from the noise. It’s near several other clubs so it’s a good spot for pub-crawling, but dress code at other places isn’t quite as hipster/IDGAF style so be prepared for that… If you’re looking for a quick, clean, diverse, hipster spot in the city this is it… Parking is in city garages 1 – 2 blocks away. You will walk. Thou art forewarned.
