Fulton Heat and Air Conditioning

Our air conditioning unit upstairs had never worked to capacity. We had Fulton come out to inspect and offer solutions.
Instead, they offered a recommendation and a quote for new unit. Their recommendation was a fan in the attic to blow out the hot air. They charged almost $ 900 for the unit (which we later found retailed at Lowe’s for just over $ 100). They installed it, and it ran non-​stop. Their mounting was not insulated, so it was very loud and made all the pictures on the walls below vibrate and hum. In the end, it didn’t decrease the temperature in our upstairs even one degree.
They offered us a quote to replace the unit. We felt the quote was high. In the end, we called another company to come out and do inspection/​quote. The competitor’s quote was $ 3,300 LESS than the one given by Fulton.
The technicians seemed to be straight out of school, had no customer service skills, and ultimately did not help our situation with their «recommendations».
