Do you really have to pay $ 90 for George to come out and give you a quote.
Wow.

George is a rock star. Came to our house at 8:30 p.m. to fix our AC on the hottest night of the year. Call him.

George came by my place today to check a leak in our crawl space/​basement coming from our furnace. He was very professional, honest and an all around nice guy. We will definitely use him again.

George and his staff are absolutely incredible. Thorough, professional, there to handle all of your heating and air conditioning needs. It’s the first time that I have had someone solve my AC problem and not try to sell me something. These guys are awesome!!!

I cannot say enough good things about George and his company… I’ve had to call him twice since 2010… the first time, he only charged me for the trip (gas, etc). changed the capacitor and showed me how to keep my AC unit clean. Last night, as I lay there with a migraine and the inside temperature was 88°, I called 2 AC repair companies… George’s crew answered the phone right away and he called within 5 minutes of his office’s notification. The other company didn’t call me back until noon… George. I have your number saved in my phone… thanks again… you are teh best!

The morning following our second cold night this year, I woke up to a house that was 53 F. When we went to bed the night before, the heater had been happily blowing away and keeping us toasty.
The next afternoon I left a message with George’s answering service, and though he was very busy that day, he called back promptly and was able to see me after his other appointments. It didn’t matter to me that it was going to be dark or after 9pm, because my house wasn’t going to get any warmer on it’s own.
George immediately diagnosed the problem and had my heater back online in less than half an hour, explaining everything he did along the way.
He was professional, extremely friendly, and very helpful with other questions I had.
I’d say he went above and beyond his call of duty!

George Gary had installed a new HVAC system for a friend of mine in a Castleberry Hill loft, and had serviced a neighbor’s system on Carroll Street in Cabbagetown, and came highly recommended for both know-​how and integrity. I was and remain very pleased with the system he installed in my turn-​of-​the-​century bungalow in the Adair Park neighborhood in 2003. I remember in particular that he was helpful in striking a good balance between affordability and sustainability. George is the guy who fixes the mistakes the other guys make without the inflated prices that they, adding insult to injury, often charge.

I just called George’s office to request that he come to my house to bid on a basement remodel project and was told they charge $ 90 just to do an assessment. Business must be great for George if he is able to turn away potentially significant new projects by insisting on charging a fee for the opportunity to bid on the work! More power to him I suppose but please…
