I joined a few months ago because I was rapidly gaining weight due to being taken off a medication. I am a very active person(I coach sports and run on my own) and I eat healthy and still it wasn’t working – so I needed something, and someone, to help me take it to the next level to shed the pounds. Dustin knows how to push and motivate people without being a stereotypical«drill Sergeant.» Each session is high intensity interval training and lasts 45 minutes; it’s perfect for people who don’t have a lot of time and are constantly on the go! Now that I’ve shed my pounds and have lost over 12 inches all over, I’m addicted and can’t get enough of the high intensity training. Emily and Dustin are extremely awesome at holding their clients accountable while driving them to want to do well for themselves so that when they are one their own they can make better decisions. I also love the overall environment of GFN, I know a lot of the ladies there now and we all encourage each other and push each other to go that extra mile. I’m a full-time therapist, sports coach, and a pre-doc research assistant and GFN allows me to get it in four times a week. They are extremely flexible and willing to work with you when you are sick or have last minute things come up! I HIGHLY recommend Get Fit Now – you’ll love it! :)

I’ve been working out at Get Fit Now for 5 weeks and I’ve lost 11.2 pounds and 9.4 inches. All of the trainers are awesome and very motivating. You can tell they want you to reach your goals. I’m so glad that I found them!

I have been working out at Get Fit Now for about 15 months and I have had really good results. Prior to starting at GFN I had given up playing rec league basketball because of back pain, knee pain and lack of core strength. At age 50+ I thought my career was over. After about 4 months training with Dustin, I felt strong enough to try pickup. Now I play in two leagues 3 to 4 days a week at a much higher level than before. My core strength is greatly increased as is my mobility. In addition my cholesterol and triglyceride numbers have come way down. Dustin’s workouts last only about 45 minutes but they are intense. The focus, by the way, is on proper technique as opposed to heavy weights. Often we’ll spend an entire session using 10 and 20 lb. dumbells but everyone ends up drained. Unlike other trainers, Dustin and his trainers plan out every exercise and each week the schedule will be posted on the studio Facebook page. Dustin and Emily(the owners) have created a Facebook community that helps with motivation. They are always available for support and workout or diet advice. If you are looking to make a real change in your physical fitness, this is the place.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Get Fit. I signed a contract for a 24 week program that was supposed to be small personal training groups for busy women in February of 2015. I should have looked more into the program and asked more questions. First of all, if you miss one of your sessions, they charge you no matter what the reason is– you are sick, you end up working late– it doesn’t matter. Once you sign up for a time to go each week, that time cannot change. You cannot switch times. Also, they are only open four days a week– Monday through Thursday. About a week ago, I broke my elbow outside of class. I emailed the owners and they were less than helpful. They charged me for classes i never attended in advance since they didn’t «get my email before the usual Thursday bill date.» I emailed them multiple times to try and get reimbursed and the only response they would send me is that I could make up the classes that they billed me for when I got better. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. DONTJOINTHEIRGYM!!!
