first review of 2014! where else can I get my essential Sport vitamins? MegaMen is ridiculously awesome for folks in their 40s hoping to not get injured being active. this ends your public-service announcement.

Now this is how a retail shop should operate. I know buying herbs & vitamins online might be less expensive and easier(this shopping center is not the easiest to navigate) but I will say the staff at this GNC are extremely knowledgeable & willing to go out of their way to help their customers. I shop here maybe 3 – 4 times a year, and I always leave feeling good about spending my money here. Plus, they have the best prices on Dr. Bronners! I always stock up when I make my seasonal trip to GNC.

I was overly impressed by the employees product knowledge and the level of customer service I received today. This may be the best location in the city and If not then Im sure they aren’t to far from the top. In the immortal words of Schwarzenegger«I’ll be back.»

Located in the bustling Whole Foods/Borders/Home Depot shopping center off Ponce, this GNC is where I now get my ostrich meat fix. After the Vortex and Fuddrucker’s got rid of their ossie burgers, I found myself limited to the Blackwing brand of frozen filets and ground meat at Whole Foods. Then, just two weeks ago, I discovered the ostrich shelves have been replaced with bison and quail, and my heart plummeted. Alas, fate intercepted just a few days later. A vicious storm hit while I was getting my nails done upstairs at Midtown Nail, and I had no desire to run to my car at the far away back corner of the parking lot in my work suit. I stopped inside the GNC and pleaded with the girl at the counter to give me a big plastic bag to cover my head with. She was SUPER nice and went to find me the biggest bag they had. That’s when I saw it — like a beacon of protein-filled light, tall, meaty sticks of Ostrim jerky in Teriyaki and Original flavors jetted gracefully out of a display box on the counter. For about $ 1.79 each, these 80-calorie sticks pack a lot of punch for a reasonable price(cheaper than buying bulk online). I’ve been back at least 4 – 5 times since, either to stock up on Ostrim or treat my brother to a massive tub of protein powder. The prices of most of their products aren’t the cheapest, but they’re well-stocked, and the staff is incredibly nice. I definitely don’t endorse all of the GNC diet and workout pills, so you won’t see me shopping here if they ever stop carrying ostrich jerky(which will probably lead me to stick my head in the sand in utter devastation). I do hate parking here, though. Although I can always find a space, the traffic, crazy drivers, homeless people, and laborers looking for work can be a lot to handle when you just want to park and pick up something quickly.
