The service here is often rude and condescending because the staff get tired of rude and condescending guests. It rubs off, in other words. I should know — I used to work here and quit after a couple months because I was tired of the snobby, rude environment.

I was twise, both times I got the variety boox of 6. What to say? This is nothing but a rip off: the chocolate was just ok, obviously cheap, very thin «shell» with huge filling and very thick «cover» that killed the whole taste. Why so many customers? Because they still find customers who did not know anything better.

I gave them another chance and actually have been back a few times since that 2^nd visit. the employee from the 1^st visit that was SO rude must be gone because the staff everytime since has been very friendly, helpful, and upbeat!

In my quest to really just not live so large, I probably made my last trip to Godiva, this past weekend. When two pieces of candy cost you $ 11.23 you really have to start to ask yourself, was it any better than a $ 1.00 Snicker bar. I mean the piece are so small, that you really don’t have a chance to really compare.
I went in for my monthly free piece of candy, that I get for being a Godiva rewards member. That’s really the only reward that I get for my membership, because most times you have to spend upwards of $ 60-​$ 100 to receive the $ 10 reward cards they send out periodically.
One thing I didn’t like is that when she weighed up my candy to get my total, she weighed the bag with the free piece inside also, so truthfully, I could have raised a fuss about it, but in the end, whats there to really fuss about, I probably would have saved less than $ 1 if he had removed the free piece.
Its chocolate at its finest, but really… can you keep saying the economy is bad, and still keep spending upward of $ 15 on 3 pieces of candy?

I’ve been a few times, and service is always just fine. I’ve never experienced any rudeness for ordering just a few chocolates, either. And four pieces of chocolate is under $ 7; buy 3 get 1 free. Unless you specifically ask for a big bag, they’ll give you the size bag that fits your purchase; that’s the way most stores work. They also have a free rewards card, so don’t forget to ask for it and then show it every time you visit. It’ll earn you a free chocolate once a month. The chocolate is, of course, the best. Life is too short to settle for Hershey’s!

I am female. Let’s just state the obvious here — because I am so into chocolate it’s not funny. And these two things (female=love chocolate) always seem to go hand in hand.
I was on my way out of the mall today and walked past this store. In fact, I walked past it 4 times. Every time I walked by I kept telling myself no and hurried to find an alternative distraction. As I was leaving however I couldn’t help myself.
There is this display case filled with truffles, and chocolate covered strawberries… and other delicious things that I just couldn’t wrap my overloaded brain around.
So, I got just one small thing — you know, as a reward for not being kicked out of the mall. Not that I normally am kicked out of malls — but you have to acknowledge the small things. I think good behavior is one thing you should reward. I don’t know if my behavior could be considered «good» necessarily, but like I said, I wasn’t kicked out. Thus — CHOCOLATE! And boy, do I love me some Godiva chocolate.
Not only that though, I also signed up for their free Godiva Chocolate Rewards Club. And you should too — here’s why. This entitles me to one FREE piece of chocolate, every month! Guys if you want to impress a lady go here. Its better than a box of chocolate from walmart without putting any thought into it. You can make your own customized box with truffled chocolate, strawberries or whatever.
The people who work there are very very nice. They made sure I got what i needed and felt good about what I got.
I don’t think I would buy any chocolate pre boxed ever again.
