Had my credit card info stolen from here in December for the SEC title game. I know for certain it was Great Wraps CNN Center because my friend’s credit card had fraudulent activity the same weekend and this was the only common business. Shady as hell, forget these guys. Use cash only.

Horrible! I ate one bite and could not eat the rest. Wrap was stale and was supposed to warm, however was cold as ice.

Ate here at lunch and was rather disappointed. I ordered the Ultimate Philly Steak and Cheese. The server was very hard to understand and the cook who I picked the food up from was even worse. The sandwich was so messy and greasy I had to eat it with a fork and knife because it was impossible to pick it up. The curly fries were very bland even with seasoning applied. The coke I had was horrible with a very strong chlorine type taste. Stay away!

Agh, I should have Unilocaled this place first! I had a breakfast wrap, and it was possibly the most tasteless wrap I have ever eaten. I swear, the onions/peppers must have just been placed on the grill raw without even salt or pepper added. Also, the wrap portion of it literally fell apart when I tried to pick it up. I had to eat it all with a spoon. Potatoes were also tasteless and had to be drowned in ketchup.

We ordered a particular wrap and it was wrong so we took it back and they gave us a different one. My boyfriend took it back after he had cut it in ½ and discovered it didn’t have bacon on it. Now anyone can make a mistake or two but it got worse. They asked what was wrong bs he told them it didn’t have bacon. The worker said«Really dude???» Then my BF said«o paid for bacon and I want bacon on it!» They took the wrap and that he already had at his table and cut into then they opened it and put bacon all over the wrapper and smashed the wrap. Then to make matters worse we were told they were closed and he needed to leave along with about 100 other people dining. The fries were cooked in what seemed to be fish oil! Gross. Stay away!!!

So, now that my Chick-Fil-A ban in the CNN Center has started, branching out and going back to the oldies. Stopped by today for a quick lunch, since my honey said she really liked eating here last time she was downtown. I’ve been to this location a handful of times over the years, and have never been wowed by the food but haven’t been disgusted either. It’s convenient for those Concert goers or vacationers visiting downtown, as they have a decent selection of draft beer. That alone earns a star, as only a handful of places in CNN Center serve up beer or wine. They also have some side items to order, like cookies or brownies, which is a nice plus in my book. I had the chipotle wrap today, and will say they make it fresh to order, and it’s always warm. The taste, well, not so spicy. It’s also a little bland on flavor. The other one’s I’ve tried(Thai wrap and Buffalo wrap) can basically be grouped into the same category. The Thai wrap is the best I’ve had there, but it’s also not as spicy. The price, $ 8.33, for a combo meal is about spot on as it fills me up fairly quickly. I do think they could do a better job of spicing up their wraps and seasoning the chicken better, which could separate them a little more from your typical wrap. Their service has never been below par and never been above par, so nothing to complain about there. One of the cool things with Great Wraps is their selection of fry spice shakers. You basically grab one, pour it into your bag of fries, shake and enjoy the flavor. I love the jalapeño flavor but they have about 8 different options to chose from. If you’re looking for a quick bite, beer, fresh wrap and something to spice up your French fries with, I’d give this place a try.

Came downtown on a lovely Saturday afternoon, and decided to try something different. There it was in the CNN center. There was no line, so I headed over to grab some lunch. Great Wraps has hot wrapped sandwiches, rice bowls, and cheesesteaks. Their signature item is the gyro wrap. Decided on the chipotle chicken wrap. The order came out quite fast, and the wrap was nice and warm. I liked the combo of flavors, and it tasted fresh. It had pepper jack cheese, chipotle ranch, grilled onions, and black bean and corn salsa. On the website(after the fact), I saw they describe the wrap and also post the calories and fat content. Okay, so no idea that was a 35 grams of fat meal, but okay! No wonder it tasted pretty good! They offer a hummus veggie option for anyone interested, and they also offer sides such as fries and salads. It was quick, came out hot, and staff was efficient. I’d come back if I was in a hurry for a quick filling meal.

Great breakfast and out of this world Customer Service. They learn you, they know what you want to eat before you even come over. They talk with you and smile at you as soon as you reach the register. I love that small mom and pop feel that they have. Also you often see the employees across at TJ’s come over and laugh and joke with the Great Wraps employees. I love that they are friendly with each other and don’t see each other as competition. Always a good vibe at Great Wraps in the morning and its a great way to start your day. The breakfast wrap combo is sooo good and for only $ 3.99 you cant beat that anywhere downtown!

Barf. I should have just listened to my gut and walked over to the Moe’s or Chik-Fil-A, or hell — any of the other 10 places to eat. BUT I really wanted a greek salad with chicken. Ugh. The chicken was that weird artificial stuff that I’m pretty sure they nuked before plopping on top of a salad prepared with yesterday’s leftover veggies that weren’t used on the wraps. Gross gross gross.

This place failed all over. It might be good for pregaming or in the evenings, but I was there at lunch during a conference. This place is across the street from a convention center and can’t handle a crowd. There was no line and the food court was crowded, so I should have known better. The cashier was not communication with the kitchen staff at all and the 30 customers crowded in front of the place had to hand their receipts to the cooks so they knew what to make. No one knew what was going on and some people waited 15 minutes before their food was started. Orders were just yelled out and tossed on the counter and since there were only 7 menu items it got really confusing. Just dumb. Don’t do it.

Solid cheap eats. Fast service, you get your moneys worth. Will return when traveling to downtown Atlanta again.

I always stop here for a gyro every time I’m in Atlanta! Always enjoy it! The house favorite is the gyro combo and they offer a variety of seasonings but trust me, you don’t need it!

Yet another example of a great restaurant being bought out by people who don’t get the concept, change the concept and ruin the business. I used to eat at Gyro Wrap several times a month. Great Wraps does not measure up. Plenty of other, better gyro restaurants in ATL to bother with this one. Mediocre at best.

I stopped by this Great Wraps last week on my way to a weeknight Atlanta Hawks game. This Great Wraps is located inside the CNN Center food court across from TJ’s Sandwiches. They sell inexpensive 32 oz. draft beer here, as do some of the other food court vendors, so it’s perfect for pregaming before an event at Philips Arena. This was my second experience at a Great Wraps and I noticed their counter was extraordinarily long compared to other Great Wraps locations I’ve seen in mall food courts. Chalk it up to the beers on tap. There was plenty of staff on hand(seven) to handle the Hawks crowd. Great Wraps CNN Center offers over a dozen different wraps from gyro wraps with Greek tzatziki sauce to teriyaki chicken wraps. The wraps are made fast and fresh to order. Each wrap resembles a burrito in size and appearance, but not as big as a burrito you’d get from a place like Moe’s. These wraps are more manageable and healthier. Single wraps are about $ 5 – 6. Combos(adding fries and a drink) are a couple dollars more. Sandwiches and salads are also available. Along with beer, there’s sweet tea and Coke fountain drinks. Free refills for the non-alcoholic beverages. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak wrap which came with thinly sliced steak, caramelized onions, melted Provolone cheese, shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, and mayo in a flour tortilla. My wrap had too much tortilla and not enough cheese or steak. Some bites were 80% tortilla. The tortilla was supposed to be grilled, but mine wasn’t, which made the wrap taste all the more plain. The ingredients were fresh enough, but there just weren’t enough of them. I also had the fries, which are golden and«potatoey» like Wendy’s fries and also curly. Unlike Arby’s curly fries, there was no brown crispy batter. Great Wraps’ fries are pretty plain. Fortuately, they have a seasonings bar with about a half dozen different types of seasonings. I like the spicy jalapeño powder. Since meals aren’t served on trays here(every order is processed as to-go), you’ll have to unbag and unwrap your fries so you can sprinkle seasonings on top. An annoyance for this location. Service was fast and efficient, though the fellow who handed me my order talked to me as if I didn’t understand English.

I always stop here before every Hawks or Thrashers game to fill my face with 32oz Sweetwaters for only $ 6 dollars. Once you go inside the arena you’ll be paying more money for less beer! The only downside is that these cheap beers always make me miss tip-off and sometimes we only make it in at half time. Those indian fellows behind the counter always give me my full 32 ounces. Sometimes no head is a good thing!

I get my humongous beers here before any game at Phillips arena. They have more of a selection than the other places in CNN center. My beer(Bass Pale Ale) was $ 6, but you can get domestic beer, either in a big can or draft, much cheaper than that. Haven’t tried their food though… maybe when I’m feeling like being healthy before a game. Which is… never.

She said…“EH, this place was alright, i thought it would be a lot better though. It is located inside the CNN center. They could have added more meat, more cheese, more lettuce and grill the onions a little bit longer before they made it a wrap.” He said…“Great Wraps? I must of missed that when we ordered our wrap. That was a joke of a wrap. The guy realized he didn’t put our grilled onions on our wrap he put them on the grill for two seconds and plopped them on the wrap. What a joke. This place is not good at all. I will never eat there ever again.”
