Never been a huge fan of gyros but tries the beef gyro here out of extreme pre game hunger and ordered a need gyro, which I found extremely delicious, again I state never been too fond of gyros, but these were done right! The beef was tender and flavor was spot on! Def recommend this place of you need a late night bite! No five stars simply because rod the atmosphere, no places to sit inside although there are several chairs outside the establishment, tables as well.

This was easily the worst falafel gyro I have ever tasted. The falafel was way overcooked and it barely populated the pita. Speaking of pita, I didn’t know they made them so small. I would have taken this back for a refund had I not ordered it to go. Finally, the location and parking are bad. I walked from my nearby hotel at the Hilton quickly. Had it not been so late I would have gone to the Peachtree Center food court. Skip this place and go hungry – you’ll feel better in the end.(No pun intended.)

So the place is a dive with only outside plastic tables and chairs; but that is what attracted me as places like this usually have the best food. Unfortunately this is not so with the gyros. It was mediocre at best and was way to dry. On the other hand the baklava was the best I have ever had. Being a huge fan of baklava this is saying something! Solid three stars.

If you need something quick and inexpensive this is a great place to go. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

This is a walk in, no frills place with great food. Nothing to look at but the Greek salad was really good and the Gyro was great. If they had some place it sit it would get the 5th star. I found it while staying in the Hilton on a Monday with few other options.

I ordered hot wings and a lamb gyro. They ended up giving me a lamb wrap… wack! The lamb was tasteless and overcooked. They put way too much sauce on the gyro that ended up being a wrap. The wings were ok.

Best baklava I’ve ever had! Falafel was a tiny bit dry, but their sauces were delicious as well as their salad. The guys are entirely sweet and take care of their customers.

Had the Gyro pita combo. It was ok, not great. No seating at all. Could of had more meat that would have made it a lot better.

This is a cool spot. Food is always fresh, they have a health score of 100. I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews

Nice little«hole in the wall» gyro shop. My first impression was it is a bit pricey… $ 8+ for a gyro, fries and canned soda… but you are in the middle of downtown. If your looking for a $ 5 meal, stick to subway. The Gyro was tasty and a fine portion. I don’t mind not having 10lbs of food left over. I also liked that the fries were of the seasoned style without having to ask, or pay more for that… They have several other menu items I wanted to try, such as burgers and wings, but maybe next time!

I got a classic gyro with a small greek salad(lettuce, tomato, onion, feta cheese, olives) for $ 9.99. It was pretty tasty, it was affordable, and I was decently full. Not bad!

The place is Turkish not Greek based on the owner’s name. Gyro, fries, and a drink will run you exactly $ 9.99. The gyro is decent albeit a bit light on the gyro meat. The fries have oregano sprinkled on them. Home-made baklava is also available but it just doesn’t cut it despite being home-made. The baklava’s inside is pasty and pale. That’s not the way it should look and it is unappetizing. The place is a take out restaurant only. There are no seats or tables.

This gyro was not that good. It was overly simple and not well executed. It was a very small gyro, taziki was thin and watery not much feta cheese or flavor. The meat and sauce sat on a bed of lettuce and onion missing tomato… It was just so blah, I only at it cuz I was hungry. The best part of the meal were the fries. Crispy on the outside soft in the inside and seasoned well. There are a couple of great gyro places in the area but this definitely isn’t one. I’ll head over to broad street and chance parking next time.

This place is awesome. Third time to Dragon Con and just found it now. I’ve eaten here twice a day since finding it. Lamb gyros are great as are the Greek salads and baklava. Chicken gyro is a little dry though.

It’s not bad… Definitely not cheap though. My son and I ordered 2 canned sodas, 1 falafel pita wrappy thing, a gyro, and a plain hamburger — it was 23 dollars! Not one«$»… I am only visiting Atlanta, and even though this place is directly across the street from my hotel, they will not be getting any more of my business. The gyro is not on par with the best out there. I really prefer the gyro shack is Boise. If you head out that way, get some gyro shack! But remember they are closed on Sundays…

This place is my savior during convention season. Whenever Dragon Con, MomoCon, and other cons are in the surrounding hotels, I make a point to go to Gyro King. First of all, I adore the owner. He’s always incredibly kind and treats you like family. He keeps the place open well into the night during conventions. I can get an affordable meal here at 2am instead of paying an arm and a leg at the Hard Rock Café or Hooters a few blocks away. There have been many times where I’m starving after a long convention day wanting a filling warm meal. I tried it once a few years ago and come back every time. I’ve brought many friends here too, and we all love it. Now to the food. It’s delicious. I’m simple. I like a lamb gyro, and it’s always delicious whether it’s the afternoon or the middle of the night. The fries are tossed in a scrumptious herb seasoning that is to die for when dipped in ranch sauce. The only downside is there’s usually no where to sit. There’s only a couple tables outside. I would suggest if with a big con like Dragon Con, maybe bring a few extra fold out chairs. After a long day of walking, its terrible having to carry my food all the way back to the hotel. I don’t even care if there’s a table. I just want a chair to sit on and eat my food. I love Gyro King. I will continue coming here as long as it’s there. I plan on hitting it up this Dragon Con in a few weeks! It’s one of my favorite places to eat in Atlanta.

Not bad. Your average gyro joint. They discontinued their lunch special it seems since they have that section covered. This place is good to go to if you work or are staying near by. For $ 9.72 I got a gyro sandwhich and a Greek salad. Was pretty filling.

I think it was renamed to Gyro Madness. The food is excellent! Great Gyros and salads. Try the chicken Gyro or the Lamb Gyro, both are excellent. Pita is grilled to perfection. Plenty of Tzatziki and lettuce as well. Portions seemed small for the price. My biggest complaint was the lack of seating. There isn’t any at all. You need to take it to go. It’s not a great location either, in terms of competition from many other local restaurants with seating. I suggest you take your food up to the Peachtree Center Mall, and eat in their food court. It’s close. Also, the value left a bit to be desired. I didn’t want fries or the salad as my side to the Gyro. I asked for the combo side to be a small tzatziki. The guy behind the counter wouldn’t do it. So I paid separately for it. Now I understand if the Tzatziki would have cost MORE than the fries or salad if purchased individually, but it was the same price! That’s obnoxious. Also, note the tzatziki doesn’t even include pita. You have to buy that separate. Never heard of that. Every Greek place in the Northeast I’ve been to, includes pita with your tzatziki. If you’re in Atlanta and craving a Greek experience for lunch, give this place a shot.

Whoa. We have great Greek food in Chicago, and this tiny place is one of the tastiest, freshest I’ve ever had. Grilled veggie pita for lunch, and came back for gyros wrap for dinner. Both incredibly good. And BAKLAVA, which is freaking amazing. The seating is two tables in the parking lot, so nothing fancy, but it’s the real deal.

The cosmetics of the restaurant my need an uplift by the food was great. It was a one man show but the employee was very friendly and quick. I ordered the lamb gyro with everything including grilled onions, cheese, and extra sauce. The fries were awesome seasoned well. Will definitely visit again. Gyros, fries, and drink under $ 8.(Lunch special)
