This daycare needs to find another person to answer the phone. I called to inquire about their program for my 2 year old and before I can finish my sentence, I was cut off. The reply was, «excuse me? No, 3 and potty trained.» Extremely rude.

My kids have been attending Frog Hollow as campers and junior counselors for the past 9 summers and I can’t say enough good things about the camp. My kids usually go for multiple sessions over the summer along with other camps and this is always their favorite. At the end of the day, you can count on them getting into the car happy, filthy and exhausted. It’s not fancy, and it’s not overly structured, and it doesn’t focus on a specific topic or type of activity. They get to pick their activities each day, so no two days are ever alike. Activities range from archery to playing in the woods to crafts to making cool snacks. It reminds me of what summer camps were like when I was a kid. And in my opinion it’s exactly the kind of things kids should be doing in the summer. After nine months of school, they need to have some relaxing, outdoor-focused fun. It’s no accident that the majority of the counselors, junior counselors and helpers at Frog Hollow were campers when they were young. Once they’ve experienced it, they never want to leave!
