iHop Express

Quite a delightful breakfast this morning at ATL. Lots of friendly servers tag teaming all the customers. Delorian was especially helpful and kind.

Asked for milk for my coffee instead of half and half and was told they would have to charge me for a glass of milk. WOW if your not going to do IHOP the right way don’t do it at all. Waffle over cooked bacon under cooked no hot syrup

Visited Ihop express on Saturday and the food and service was great. Ashley was our server and she was extremely focus on us due to them being very busy and short staffed. All the servers stopped by our table to check on us. The manager Tracia was great as well, she visited our table several times and asked questions about our trip. We was very surprised to get this type of service being that we was in the airport so kudos to the Ihop express team. I will have tell everyone about this spot.

Ate here a few days ago after getting back from a long flight. I don’t believe I have ever had worse service. It took them 20 minutes to acknowledge I existed (and only came to serve me when I literally got up to get the menu myself). When my server took my order, he literally forgot what I was ordering as he walked away, and came back to ask twice.
When the food came, the toast was burnt and it was still the wrong order. (As an aside, I ordered tea as well, and was informed they had no lemon.)
The food was ok, once I finally got my order. But by this time I had been there over an hour.
There was one new guy, Warrenn, who did try to help when I tried to correct my order. He summoned the manager (who didn’t show up), brought the correct food out, and tried to resolve my meal issue. Nonetheless, I highly recommend against eating here if you would like to a. Make your flight or b. Get a correct order.

This place is horrible. The employees would rather do anything else than help customers. The food tales forever and tastes like crap. It definately explains why this place is empty while all the other estairamys in the atrium are packed.

Worst iHop I’ve ever been to hands down! The wait time is beyond terrible. The food was cold and I lost appetite very quickly! By any means am I a pick eater — if I ever complain about a place, it’s because the service is really bad.

The «Express» part of this restaurant’s name is extremely inaccurate. Only eat here if you have plenty of time between flights.

Waited for more than an hour for my steak and eggs. When it came, the steak was literally inedible. The only thing I could eat was the eggs and the pancakes on the side, which was certainly not worth 12 bucks. By then, I didn’t have time to exchange it because it took so long to come out and I had to run to my flight. Simply avoid.

So– i came back from a festival and already missed my flight. My boyfriend really wanted pancakes because we hadn’t eaten all day — it is now close to 6, our flight is at 6 and we told the manager, Cortez, that. They couldn’t expedite the order at all. He said it would take 10 or 15 minutes — it’s already been 20. They just don’t care about customers and made it very clear. I’ll be surprised if I ever go to IHOP again because of this. And I try to go a few times a month… :(:(:(

All bad got some scrambled eggs that smelled disgusting like they were rotten service took forever they only have two people working.

I have to start by saying that this place use to be great. The chicken and waffles were my favorite. Don’t order off of the express menu it doesn’t make a difference. Tables dirty and poor service. Waited 45 minutes for scrambled eggs and bacon off express menu.

Sat for 10 minutes without being acknowledged. After reading the reviews. I decided to go elsewhere.

Seated for almost 10 minutes before a waitress approached us. Not particularly charming. No spoon to stir my food. Not the most amazing food.

Don’t come here! Get a burger or fried chicken just don’t come to this slow service bad tasting place. The food was cold and also got a sour taste, coffee was also lukewarm, the whole breakfast took 1 hr. I don’t know how they can call it express, we were afraid if we send the food back it would take even longer to get it back so we ask for the check and that took about 20 mins.

After a 5-​hour flight, staving off hunger with tiny bags of pretzels, anything tastes good.
Really, I didn’t notice any difference between this IHOP and any other IHOP. Perhaps a smaller menu? You place your orders up front and then they serve at your table. Service was pretty quick. Otherwise, pretty standard. I had the veggie omelette. Nothing to write home about, but again what do you expect from IHOP?
It is conveniently located next to the baggage claim.

Clean, very busy and friendly staff. Pricey, but that is to be excepted at an airport. A Fiji water is $ 4 but as I said, this is standard pricing at an airport. The menu is a condensed version for the airport and limited.

I have never thrown up so much after eating ihop. This place is so gross. You can bet that the tables are gross and dirty. The staff spit in food and hate their jobs and the people that come in and watch out because on top of that they rob you blind by cutting your order in half and since you pay up front they screw your side ways. If you want a foot of your Colin to have to be removed by an emergency room doctors this place is for you. But if you care about your life eat somewhere else!

Slow service. Cashier with a bad attitude. Items were on the menu board that are no longer available. I tried to order a ham egg and cheese sandwich and she told me this that wasn’t available yet each of the individual items are on the menu

So, in general, I eat out because I can’t cook great. But, I can make a waffle. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for the iHop express. It was, it was something horrible. So, since chains start at three by default, they get dinged for screwing up something that should be trivial. Now, had that waffle been $ 3, no problem, but it wasn’t, it was an $ 8 waffle.
Staff was charming and pleasant, so that keeps them from a single star! Seriously, eat breakfast before you get here, or wait for something at your terminal.

The Bad — You’ll find menu items are priced $ 3-​$ 5 more than a regular IHOP
The Ugly — The staff is incredibly rude. During my visit, I witnessed a customer get extremely upset over waiting 18 minutes for a simple order of grits. Apparently the wait staff thought it was funny that the customer was upset and took their time giving this woman a refund. Also don’t expect refills on drinks although this is a part of their service or to be checked on from time to time once you’ve been seated. Oh and I forgot to mention that everyone yells in this place. Clearly these women hate their jobs. I could go on and on, but save yourself some time and money, and skip this place!
