IICONS Salon

So, after the mishap at my previous salon, I was on the quest to find a new one. A friend of mine suggested Nikk at IIcons Salon. I am HOOKED! Things I like:
1. If you have an appointment at a set time, you are brought to the shampoo area at that time. No more waiting 20 – 30 minutes after your appointment time just to get your hair washed! I’m usually out within a couple of hours, too. No more spending darn near 4 hours just to get a wash and a condition.
2. I am transitioning from a relaxer to a natural, and after Nikk gets done with my hair, you can’t tell! After one visit he’s told me that I really don’t need a relaxer and has given me tips on how to keep my hair healthy. I’ve watched the other two stylists at work and they are great as well.
3. Online booking! Need I say more?!
The only thing I dislike about this salon is the lack of parking. There are maybe 5 – 7 spaces in the front of the building, and 5 – 7 in the back. I’m not sure how it is on the weekend, but I’ve had days where I had to squeeze my car into a makeshift space. Oh well – the price we pay for great hair!
PS: Get the steam treatment. It’s an extra $ 20, but I get them once a month and have yet to deal with the issue of my hair reverting in less than 10 days.
