excellent product. gorgeous showroom. probably the most environmentally conscious manufacturers in the world.
modular tiles are great for temp space and kid’s rooms.
not sure why one reviewer said they are never open. it’s pretty much 9 – 5 M-​Sat.

Pros: Modular tiles give you the option to mix & match, nice selection
Cons: Annoying return/​exchange policy, Flor showroom is never open, you cannot order directly from the showroom… you must do so online and pay shipping.
We ordered 12 tiles from their website. We ended up having to return half because the colors were off from how they were online, which is fine. We had to reorder 6 more to replace the returned tiles. They don’t do exchanges (this was not specified in their policy page), so we had to pay to ship them back and pay to ship the new ones. We’re still waiting for them to credit us for the returned stuff.
Overall we spent over $ 200. I would recommend getting their catalog and going to the showroom (when it’s open which is never) and really inspect the tiles before you order them online. Also, if you do decide to return their products and they don’t accept it, they will bill you the shipping costs as well as a 15% restocking fee.

David and I have been meaning to change out the carpets in our loft. We’ve been having a hard time trying to find carpet that we like since its hard to find a color, design, and size that we can agree upon. In addition, the price of a nice 8×10 carpet can range around a good $ 500 bucks. I suggested that we check out FLOR carpet tiles. It’s right next to the LA Fitness in Midtown and I have always wanted to check out the store.
We walked in and we were in love! The space is beautiful and by the look of David’s face, I can see that this is a designers playground! The great thing about FLOR carpet tiles is that you can create your own unique look, by combining different colors, patterns and fabrics together! It’s like creating your own piece of art for your floor! Everything is interchangeable and they have so many choices to select from. Plus, its easy to clean and replace… just unstick and toss and add a fresh new tile!
We came out of there scoring 2 8×10 unique carpets for only $ 600! The best thing, they ship it to your home and it only takes 1 – 2 days for delivery! If you are in the market for carpet, check this place out and say hello to the showroom manager, Michelle Dubard… she is fabulous!
