Intown Business Center

I went back to Intown Business Center to mail a package a while ago and thought I should update my review. The staff I dealt with was very professional as well as kind and thoughtful. I am giving three stars because they ended up mailing my package back to me. (I received the package that I had just sent in the afternoon mail.) Apparently, they forgot to peel a label off or something. HOWEVER, when I brought my box back in that Monday, the situation was resolved without issue; quickly and politely. I appreciate the quality of service and look forward to improvements in Intown. Because of its convenience in Inman Park, residents really do depend on its services to be reliable, reasonably priced, and professionally executed. I think the new ownership is quickly moving in this direction.

I have been going here since Kathy and James opened it about 9 ½ years ago, I drive from northern Henry county to have all my shipping needs taken care of because of the friendly, helpful employees. I was very nervous when Kathy and James sold the business to take a new life path but I have found Greg to be as friendly and helpful as were Kathy and James. They always ask how I want things shipped and give me comparative prices. Shipping packages to a deployed friend is so much easier here than at the post office. I tried going to a FedEx place closer to where I live and that experience showed me I was much wiser to drive the extra distance for the quality service.

I’ve been coming here for months. Their service is very good. They are helpful, nice, and professional. I highly recommend them.

Great neighborhood ship and copy business! They are always super accommodating whether they are printing or shipping. Also, a convenient place to get papers notarized.

The employees here are professional, and very helpful in the short process of mailbox rental, when you walk in for service. My one complaint about this place, is that they never seem to answer their phone.

outstanding service and expanded technology make this business a perfect source for your Po box and graphic needs. I have moved outside of town and maintain my inbox expressly because of the consistently stellar service and flexibility allowed me by the Staff and Owner. due to recent investments in better, newer technology, I anticipate this gem will become my one stop shop for all needs. highly recommend

I love this place. They’re always so friendly and offer quick and thorough service. They also have an array of shipping retail! Great friendly neighborhood location!

These guy are super nice and reasonably priced.
I went in to ship 2 items (not even boxed up). They found the right boxes for me, found the cheapest ground rates (via USPS it turns out), and didn’t charge me for their boxing them up – just for the shipping and the boxes (which were a $ 1 or 2).
I also saw them give a free $ 4 stamp to another woman, because she’d had a hard time with sending a large envelope that kept getting returned to her.
Great to have them in the neighborhood.

Intown Business Center is a great place to get anything you need done. I send mail, packages, and get copies done. Recently I emailed them an invitation I needed printed that I created online. They immediately called me and talked through what I needed and had then ready for me to pick when I needed them! The invitations came out wonderfully!

I have always had a great experience at this business center! It is close to the business a manage so it is walking distance and they always help me with anything I need and they do high quality work!

I have used this place several times as it is incredibly convenient to where I live. However, they are a bit overpriced and have even lost a package of mine. The young man that works there every time I have visited was incredibly rude to me. He could not differentiate between a letter and a number and rather than offering to fix it to his liking, was snarky, rude, and tried to rush me out. I will not be using their services ever again. I certainly hope the owner reads reviews and discusses customer service with him. Considering the shipping needs of my business are increasing I could have brought a lot of money to this company. However, I’d much rather wait in line at the post office than deal with someone so nasty on a regular basis.

Very happy with this business! The customer service is awesome. And the rates for their mailboxes can’t be beat. They also email and text you to let you know when packages arrive for you. Definitely recommend this place.

I went here to ship a book using Media Mail and they added a surcharge that increased the postage rate by more than 50%. There is no sign that advises you that prices are different from a regular post office and yet they are described as such on Unilocal.I think they should be coming forward and clearly disclose any upcharge they are applying.
On top of that, I did not get the tracking numbers that are printed on the receipt you get at a regular post office. If you are looking to ship via USPS, I suggest you go to a real post office.

5 years later and Intown business center is still great. They text or email when packages arrive. Nice folks, we find this the best and safest way to get valuable packages without having stuff sitting on your front porch.

Everyone here is super friendly and I highly recommend supporting this small, convenient, courteous business over the Post Office or franchises like UPS and FedEx.
Such a great place. They do it all. I ship all my packages here. They do everything the post office does without the wait. I also have a mailbox here, which while it be but tiny, it is NOT a po box! AND I have access to it ²⁴⁄₇.

So nice. So helpful. Amazing when one is in a bind and has almost been sent crying from FedEx Office. Start at Intown Business Center. Your day will go much better:)

I’m not a fan. Trying to get packages out quickly is like being a married bachelor. There’s nothing quick about any of the employees here. I’m also a bit confused as to the need to use measuring tape on every package I send out. If I have 4 boxes that are 12×15, they will take the tape out for all 4 boxes. I’d say it’s obviously that they’re all the same size.
Additionally, the pricing is at a convenience premium, which I get for shipping but for supplies it’s insane what they charge. The prices at Intown Business Center incentivize customers to buy supplies at big box stores.
For folks who never ship stuff, this place is great b/​c this might seem like par for the course, but I send hundreds of packages a year and I dread having to resort to Intown Business Center.
UPS stores and post offices are faster per transaction, and they cost a lot less. And… there’s not attitude fromm the owners at those places.
Also, learn what can and can’t be shipped certain ways by the USPS. I’m consistently told, «you can’t ship this package that way.» (The staff is consistently wrong about this). I should not have to inform you of the postage rules. That’s your job and it’s your business proposition.

This place is like a home office away from home for me. I love the owners– they are the friendliest, most accomodating people. I love seeing the friendly faces whenever I go in. They have recently hired an employee and he is outstanding, too. This morning, he had to go back and forth from register to register and was so apologetic even though it was no big deal and he was working as quickly as possible to get me out the door.
I have been coming here since they opened, and from scanning and emailing things to me, to Fedex, mail, and complicated packing they have handled it all seamlessly. Even when its busy, they do things quickly and efficiently and always with a smile.
I’m not sure what I would do without this place– I go to FedEx Kinkos and its just the most impersonal and non-​customer focused service. I come here, and it feels like coming to a trusted local business.
As an independent consultant, I rely on services like these to be great, and I wouldn’t rely on anyone else.

Before my review, I first wanted to counter the reviewer that claimed that notary service is no longer available: They have 3 licensed notaries on the premises, as I use this service daily without having ever had a problem. Please remove that review as the information is not correct.
I’ve been using Intown Business center for over a year on a routine basis, and they are by far the best independent shipping center in Metro Atlanta. I’ve used several in my line of work, and they are hands down the most helpful and efficient.

Have generally had good experiences here, but went to send a FedEx internationally and was barked at like an employee who had failed a test. Owner/​manager was too busy doing another job to be helpful and instead expressed frustration because I didn’t know how to fill out the proper customs forms.
I suggest a little more customer-​oriented approach. I am a small business owner myself and would never speak to a customer that way.
