Intown Pilates is an excellent studio — well managed and maintained, attractive, clean space. The instructors are professional and well qualified; mine is extremely knowledgeable of anatomy, movements, what effects what in your body. Had a minor injury; she knew exactly what to do both facilitate recovery and to keep me moving. Pilates is good for your body and your mind!

Intown Pilates is an amazing Pilates studios. It is fully equipped with balanced body equipments, which are the best among all other brands. Besides private session, the studio also offers different kinds of group classes, such as tower (multi-​level), mat (multi-​level) and jump-​board (cardio). And the scheduling is very easy!
The best part: amazing instructors. Donna, I have to admitted, is the best instructor that I have ever had. Taking classes with her is very challenging but with so much fun! I have improved so much since practicing with Donna. Moreover, my shoulder pain is reduced, hamstring and hip mobility and flexibility are improved, and body overall become more balanced. Also, Donna is a balanced body faculty, which means she teaches teachers! I promise you that you will never regret taking Pilates with Donna.
Of course, other instructors are highly recommended. Each instructor has her unique way of teacher style and approaches. You can always find your right instructor and classes at Intown Pilates.

I started Pilates two years ago and it changed my life! My posture is much better and I toned up significantly. The instructors at Intown are all very knowledgeable and have great dance/​Pilates backgrounds. Their classes are all very challenging and refreshing at the same time. I’m hooked for life!!!

I have been coming to this studio very regularly for 1.5 years and have had nothing but great experiences with all of the mat instructors. They are very knowledgeable, take the time to get to know you and your body’s issues/​limitations, provide specific guidance about modifications and also ways to make things more challenging, and are very observant to ensure you are doing things correctly. I have lots of back and neck issues and I wanted to be able to receive a decent amount of personal attention even though I’m in a group class. I have found that balance at this studio. The equipment is always very nice and clean, and everyone is incredibly friendly. I anticipate staying with the studio as long as I live in the area.

I came to Intown Pilates two years ago after giving birth to my son. I had been taking classical Pilates at a nearby studio, but wanted to try a different studio. I was in terrible shape after having a c-​section and gaining far more than the recommended 25 – 30 pounds during pregnancy. I had some lower back and neck issues too. I started taking the group classes and absolutely became addicted to Pilates.
The classes are very small and the instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and are constantly taking new classes and adding new exercises to the routine so that you are always challenged. They have an understanding of each of their clients’ physical abilities and are able to help you strengthen your Pilates practice. Often a class has students with varied experience and capabilities and the instructors are able to teach to all levels. The equipment is always in perfect condition and the studio is spotlessly clean. Ellen, the owner, has brought together an eclectic mix of teachers, some have more of a dance background, while others have more of a fitness/​athletic background. This adds a whole new dimension to each class and keeps you constantly challenging your body. My chronic lower back and neck issues have disappeared and I have strengthened my abdominal muscles after having a baby and c-​section. The most important thing is for the first time in my life I actually enjoy working out and never want to miss a class.

This is a great studio. The owner Ellen is super nice and very easy to get in touch with to sign up for classes, make a change or just come by for an initial visit. All of the teachers are incredibly friendly and easy to work with as well. While they very slightly in style, they all teach a challenging workout, but will also provide modified positions if an exercise is too challenging.
I love the variety of classes. The membership concept is great because it makes it so easy to sign-​up and for a small annual fee you get a good discount on classes.
As a former Pilates teacher, I would highly recommend this studio to anyone — beginners to experienced practitioners.

I was in from NYC and wanted to keep up my workout routine and found Intown Pilates. It was close to where i was staying and i had read the reviews on Unilocal. Well believe it, what a great place. Spoke to the owner about my fitness level and she paired me up with a great instructor. (Sarah). I was challenged and by the time i left my endorphins were in high gear. She did an excellent job. When i come back to Atlanta i am going back to Intown Pilates and training with Sarah again. THANKS!!!

Intown Pilates is the ideal Pilates studio! Intown Pilates has created the perfect balance of providing high-​level Pilates classes in an encouraging and warm environment. The co-​owners, Jessica and Peter, are highly dedicated and talented instructors that have created a variety of classes to keep their clients engaged and challenged. The positive atmosphere coupled with plethora of amazing classes motivates me to prioritize exercising and attend classes 5 days a week! I feel truly blessed to have become part of their community.

At my physician’s suggestion I decided to start doing Pilates. I went to at least 3 different studios and did the introductory classes before I landed at Intown Pilates. I was glad I tried it last because it sealed the deal! The instructors are personable, welcoming, and helpful; the equipment is top of the line; the space is large and comfortable; classes are small and tailored to the levels of students in the class. I am a high school teacher and so I am keenly aware of the fact that good teaching is encouraging and meets students where they are. I found that in the three different instructors that I had at Intown Pilates and I found myself excited to go back each time. What a feat for an exercise class! I have completed my introductory week of classes and I am a devotee not only of the practice but of the group at Intown Pilates. After trying other studios I have found hat this one really is the best in Atlanta!

I can’t say enough good things about this studio. It’s a supportive environment (no matter what other reviewers might say). Yes, Peter is tough, and maybe his style doesn’t work for all, but don’t judge the entire studio based on one class from one instructor.
Each teacher at Intown Pilates has something different to offer, which is one of the BEST things about the studio. Kathy & Jenna are constantly thinking of new exercises and no class is the same, Jessica is not only a great teacher but a personal inspiration. And Peter kills me — the hilarious stories soften the blow of the hardest sculpt class in the free world. I don’t care what kind of shape you think you’re in, Peter can find a way to make it tough.
There’s no way to get in a rut with so many teaching styles and types of classes, and each class is small enough to give individual attention when needed. Everyone at the studio is nice — it’s like a family up there, and we get support from each other as well as the instructors.
My body has completely changed in the last 2 years and I’m stronger, taller, & thinner than ever. More importantly, my self esteem improved from all the work and encouragement there, and I’m completely addicted. I love love love everyone there.

Pilates mat, tower, cadillac and yoga all taught in comfortable, clean, welcoming setting. The maximum amount of guests for each class is only 10 people which means the instructors are able to focus on each person.

My very first class at Intown Pilates was with Peter, but the mix of his clear directions/​instructions, wicked sense of humor, and confidence in what he is teaching totally won me over to the studio.
I’ve since gone on to take multiple classes with Jessica and will continue to do so. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, supremely positive, knows her stuff and teaches like a firm, but good friend.
