I work in the perimeter area and wanted some wings delivered for lunch. I normally eat pretty early, so I didn’t want to wait for Galla’s to open at 11:30. Jojo’s menu said they open at 11. I ordered 5 wings, a philly, fries and a coke since the delivery minimum is $ 10. The price was $ 10.69 and after delivery fee it was 14 something. I placed my order at 11:06 and they said 45mins to an hour. I thought that was kind of long considering it was not quite lunch hour rush. At 12:10 I called to ask how much longer and the person said he’s on his way and that there’s traffic. I looked at the traffic map and there wasn’t. They are one exit north of my exit off 400. The food finally arrived at 12:30. My food was cold, the coke was warm and the fries were soggy. The wings were brown inside and tasted off. The philly was smashed and also soggy. They didn’t give napkins. I’ve ordered from them once before and they didn’t give utensils when I ordered fried rice. From now on, I’ll wait for Galla’s to open at 11:30 and actually get good wings and fast service.

So I decided to give the food here a try, as I use the Eat24 app on my Android if I want delivery. I prefer to go this method, because calling in food sometimes causes you to run into a wall, especially if the people you speak to do not speak the best English. This can’t always be helped, I just want to make sure my order is done correctly with no confusion! That said, I cannot speak for the condition of the actual location, nor can I speak for any true customer service with JoJo’s. The delivery experience went really smoothly! It took a bit longer than I had hoped, as many times when I’ve ordered from other nearby places, they have my food super hot and ready at my door within about 45 minutes. Granted, I’ve become a bit spoiled to this, and it took JoJo’s delivery about an hour. If anyone knows me and my reviews, I am a lemon pepper wing fanatic. They’re always the wings I’ll buy, if available on the menu, because a great lemon pepper wing says a lot to me! Clearly, this is what I ordered — on top of the catfish nuggets, a side salad and a bacon BLT.(Don’t judge me, I was ordering for my boyfriend and I, too!) The wings were crispy and tasty, but were a bit over seasoned. Whatever lemon pepper seasoning they used had a lot of sodium in it, so when they were over seasoned they tasted VERY salty. Rubbing some of the seasoning off the wings solved this, though. The wings themselves were not very large. I’m unsure how some people stated these were the best lemon pepper wings they’ve ever had, as they were ‘okay’, at best. I’d probably order them again, as I do like to get any establishment a second chance. The catfish nuggets were good, however to me, they were very salty. It seems the batter had too much salt added to it or something — they were also breaded pretty heavily, so if you got a smaller nugget, the meat of the fish was kind of «taken over» by the breading itself. The larger nuggets were great, though, as the salt content did in fact add to the taste of the fish. Kind of a hit or miss situation. My boyfriend loved these, however! The BLT was great. It could have been better, but it was definitely not bad. They used a very mild mayo on it and tons of bacon. The tomatoes on it also tasted fresh, so that impressed me. The oddest part? What really surprised me the most here was how yummy the side salad was! Crazy, right? The side salad was a mixture of high quality greens, which I was NOT expecting, and thinly sliced tomatoes and cucumbers. Both types of veggies tasted fresh. The salad dressing that came with it(I got the balsamic variety) was not made fresh by them, but it was still good. Might I mention, the side salads are DIRT cheap at JoJo’s! I’ve ordered side salads from different high quality Asian delivery places nearby and they’re always just a mound of iceberg lettuce — and that’s it. I’ve got to give credit where credit is due here, especially nowadays where people are taking their health into consideration. Adding a tasty and less expensive side dish that’s better for us, that’s a great move. Overall, with JoJo’s, you really do get what you pay for. Their quality of food is okay, not the best, but for the price you can’t beat it. It’s portion friendly and ordering from them(delivery) won’t break the bank like some other restaurants. In total, I think all of that food I ordered was roughly $ 20 worth, and it could have fed a small family! I’d say give them a try, but do NOT expect 5 star quality.

Upon arriving home, JoJo’s menu was stuck in my front door, upon looking at their menu we decided to order delivery. We called and their voicemail answered. We check the number and dial again and we got voicemail once more. We called one more time, same voicemail. We decided to read the reviews, before going there, and immediately nixed this place. The fact that 2 reviews mentioned uncleanliness and another review mentioned roaches, is what made us decide not to ever get food from this business. Hours state that they are open until 10pm. We called at 8:55 p.m. on a Tuesday. It’s irritating that a business is run this way. Our alternative: Taco Mac, their Wings are big and flavorful.

I was told 45 minutes for delivery… it took over an hour and a half. When I called after an hour ask how much longer it would be, I was told the driver was on his way. Only after I pushed, was I offered 10% off on my next order… As if I would order again! And 10%? Seriously? The driver calls me complaining that I’m not answering my door… he was at the wrong apartment! Finally I get my order, and it’s cold. Soggy fries and cold food. Never again!

I ordered the gyro but they delivered a grilled chicken sandwich, I called and said you gave me the wrong order, and they sad sorry, we can give you a 10% discount for next time. they refused to give me the food I ordered. the best they can do is a 10% discount for delivering the wrong food. they refused to bring the order I paid for.

I’ve tried this place twice and its below so-so. The wings are small, but were kind-of tasty during my first visit. I gave them another try and they were flavorless during my second visit. I’m so disappointed bc they are convenient. I’m tired of looking for a good wing place that delivers. Oh well, on to the next…

I placed an order on Monday and they sent a completely wrong order and the food was soggy and cold. I called to inform them and they told me that they could not redeliver the correct order but the next time I ordered, they would take 30% off the order. I called today to place an order and when I mentioned the 30% that he promised, he said«I can not do 30% because the machine will only let me do 15%» What kind of crap is that! I told him that he needed to honor his word and that I would cancel the order and never order from them again. He could care less. I wish I had read the reviews and seen the pictures of the roaches at this establishment before I started ordering from there.

I ordered the lemon pepper wings – and I have to say they were very mediocre. This location is close to home so I tried them out. But won’t be going back. If you just need something quick to kill a craving… maybe this place will work. Otherwise, if you’re looking for«quality» — try elsewhere(like I’m about to do now, lol)

YUCK – ! Scrawny, dry, flavorless wings & equally flavorless fried rice with about 5 watery frozen shrimp for 5.99. NEVER ordering from this place again.

The wings and the phillies are great to eat here. I stick with those 2 items only because the cook makes them fantastic each and everytime. Not the cleanest place if you plan on dining in but as long as the food score comes correct then i know its safe to eat.

Wings are great. I’ve had wings from a number of places in the metro Atlanta area and these guys are near the top. Reasonably priced as well.

NASTY! These trolls sneak in local hotels and stuff their menus under the guest’s doors! We’ve asked them numerous times not to, but the refuse to stay away. We’ve called the police but they don’t care.

If you’ve read my reviews of American Deli, Church’s Chicken and Three Dollar Café, you’d know that I’m very particular about my wings, and more importantly, the sanitation grade of the establishment. I find it almost sad that as a resident of Smyrna I have to come to Roswell Road for decent wings at a place with a grade above 85. JoJo’s passes muster on taste, value and cleanliness. Their«A» sanitation grade is proudly displayed next to the ordering counter. The wings are the thing here. I was re-introduced to JoJo’s by a former coworker a couple weeks ago and I’m hooked. Here’s how it went down: Christmas Eve after a short workday, I stopped in to pick up dinner. Being a fan of American Deli’s Philly and sub combo(all drums), I ordered the same thing here at JoJo’s, and got the 10-piece mild/lemon pepper combo(all drums) for baby. A great value for under $ 20. I must admit, however, I wasn’t exactly bowled over by the somewhat odd appearance of the Philly when I unwrapped it. It kinda resembled a chili dog. The taste was pleasant enough, but not as good as American Deli-Howell Mill. I did LOVE the wings, although the cook wasn’t paying attention when I noticed a few flats in my order. The fries were your average frozen-food aisle variety, but tasty nonetheless. Fast-forward to New Years Day. I’m not big on the collard greens, black eyed peas and rice thing that a lot of Southerners swear by. Instead we opted for a casual dinner of appetizers– taco dip, meatballs, deviled eggs and pasta salad. One thing was missing, however… wings. I dialed up JoJo’s, placed my order for 15 drums(lemon pepper/mild) and set out in the pouring rain. This time I checked the order at the counter-cook got it right! No flats. JoJos also offers burgers, gyros and seafood-which brings me to my forgotten first experience. When I worked at the Coca-Cola customer service center in Dunwoody back in 2009, my coworkers often placed delivery orders. I tried the tilapia dinner and fish salad, but can’t recall if I enjoyed them or not. One thing’s for sure, I love their wings!

Bad. Terrible. How can anyone mess this type of food up? JoJo’s staff can! The burgers look great on the pics on the menu and on the outside of the restaurant. They are Frozen patties and they are dry as a board. It tasted like deer meat. Everything is from a bag. Wings, fries, catfish, shrimp, everything. Good for groups, YES-because no one is ever there. Good for people withOUT taste buds on their tongues? Yes, because the food stinks.

Yesterday for lunch I decided a chicken philly fit the bill. So I rang up JoJo’s and proceeded to place my takeout order. The lady was friendly and told me that my food would be ready in 10 minutes. Since they are a couple of miles away I immediately jumped in my car and proceeded towards this establishment. Seven minutes later you can imagine my surprise when a sign greets me at the front door which reads«Closed for the day»! Confused, I walk through the doors into what appears to be an Asian owned establishment. Everyone is congregated in the kitchen around an African American woman who sees me and proclaims with force… «They are closed!» The others around her concur that the establishment is closed for the day. So curiousity being what it is, I decide to grab a menu and listen to some of the conversation. The African American woman determinely says that she has given them 5 chances to comply and fix the problem and she has the papers to prove it. She is obviously fed up with these individuals. She tells them again that they are closed. Now as far as I know there are only two entities that can shut a restaurant down like that… One is the fire department and the other one isn’t the fire department. I looked around but let’s just say I didn’t see any big red trucks. At this point I’ve heard enough so I bolt for the door. I think it was the lady who took my order that followed me to the parking lot. She apologized for my inconvenience. She said they had a «surpise guest» arrive and they were closing for the rest of the day but to try them again tomorrow. I replied no ma’am… no inconvenience at all!
